BTS Jungkook Makes Cute Mistake in Latest 'Bangtan Bomb,' Chipotle Responds by Changing Twitter Name

Recently on January 23, BTS' label Big Hit Music uploaded a new video on the group's Youtube channel BANGTANTV, where they shared a new episode of "Bangtan Bomb," which usually features behind-the-scenes footage of the seven members during their schedules.

In this particular episode titled "Lunch Time with Chipotle - BTS," the video focuses on the group's youngest member, Jungkook, as he is preparing to have lunch after an outdoor performance on "The Late Late Show with James Corden" while they are in the United States.

The video shows Jungkook as he opens a package of food from Chipotle, a popular fast food restaurant in the United States known for their Mexican food.

This also marks the first time Jungkook will be trying out Chipotle, with the video showing the idol discovering the Mexican food chain.

During the video, as Jungkook was mixing his food, he asked the staff and BTS members present, "What is this? Chicotle?"

Given that this is Jungkook's first time hearing about the brand, he was pretty close to Chipotle's name. J-Hope, who was behind Jungkook at that time, said he thought he heard "chocolate."

Jungkook also began complimenting the food, saying it tasted delicious and that he "wants to eat this everyday," while the rest of the BTS members also flock to the food to have a taste of Chipotle.

Following the release of the video, fans couldn't help but find Jungkook adorable for mistaking Chipotle's name with "Chicotle." Soon, clips of the scene spread onto social media, such as Twitter.

And of course, the clip soon caught the attention of Chipotle themselves!

Chipotle then decided to join in on the fun, and change their name to "Chicotle," in honor of Jungkook's cute mistake.

They also replied to a tweet on BTS' official Twitter account, saying, "It's Chicotle from now on," showing their love for the BTS member!

McDonald's Changes Name Similar to Jungkook's Instagram Handle

This isn't the first time a major fast food franchise changed their name for the BTS member.

In fact, back when BTS launched their individual Instagram accounts in December, Jungkook drew attention for his uniquely long Instagram handle, which contains the entire English alphabet except for "J" and "K," which signifies Jungkook's initials "JK."

McDonald's then decided to pay a little tribute to his witty handle, changing their Twitter name similar to Jungkook's with the alphabet, except they removed the letters "C," "D," and "M."

Fans couldn't help but laugh at Chipotle for changing their Twitter name, and even joked that they should open a branch in South Korea under the name "Chicotle," with many also begging the fast food chain to come to the country as many have been dying to taste their food.
