Rookie group ENHYPHEN just broke a record on Spotify after surpassing 6 million monthly listeners on the music platform!

The BELIFT LAB group now has the most monthly listeners on Spotify among 4th-generation K-pop groups.

They also ranked third among the other 4th-gen groups to have the highest peak of monthly listeners on Spotify. JYP Entertainment group Stray Kids ranked first with 6.61 million monthly listeners, and ITZY with 6.31 million listeners.

ENHYPHEN Enjoys Success With 'Polaroid Love'

"Polaroid Love," ENHYPEN's b-side track from their repackaged album "DIMENSION: ANSWER," released on January 10, is reportedly the most-streamed K-pop song in 2022. The song became a trend among music listeners after a TikToker used it for a fan-created dance challenge.

Following its success, "Polaroid Love" entered the South Korean chart MelOn's Top 100.

ENHYPHEN Interview Revisited

ENHYPHEN first made rounds across the globe in 2020. Months later, they sat down for an interview with Vogue following the release of "BORDER: CARNIBAL."

The members Ni-ki, Sunghoon, Jungwon, Sunoo, Heeseung, Jay, and Jake shared what it was like to be thrust into the spotlight while they are still teenagers.

Jay admitted that gaining millions of followers within a span of a couple of months was overwhelming. He didn't also expect how challenging it would be to have such a busy work schedule but the whole experience has helped him mature.

Jungwon, on the other hand, is grateful for the support of the fans. Even though they weren't able to meet them in person following their launching, he revealed that he reads the messages and comments on social media.

ENHYPHEN members are also very positive and supportive of each other. When asked what traits they admire most about their groupmates, each one had something special to say.

Jungwon said that he's most inspired by Jay's conviction and confidence. Heeseung admires Ni-ki's go-with-the-flow personality, while Jay admires Jake's positive mindset.

Jake is inspired by how Sunghoon presents himself and the latter is inspired by Jungwoon's leadership and sincerity.

Sunoo admires Sunghoon's self-discipline, and Ni-ki thinks Jake's positive mindset is contagious.

Just like other bands, ENHYPHEN also experienced some struggles on their way to success. But each member faced a different challenge in the beginning.

Jungwon, for instance, found it most difficult to film their first entertainment show because he's an introvert. Sunghoon, on the other hand, felt that preparing for their debut was most challenging.

Heesung also struggled during the group's first awards show performance. And Sunoo had a hard time acting in front of the cameras.

But despite the challenges that they faced, there's no denying the fact that ENHYPHEN has become one of the most popular boybands of their generation. On Instagram alone, they already have 8.5 million followers and counting.
