Two members of IVE are being pitted against each other for this reason, but it could all just be a misunderstanding.

DIVEs recently discussed a supposed beef between Jang Wonyoung and Yujin that dates back from when they were still part of IZ*ONE.

IVE Wonyoung Cryptic Remark Explained 

A report claimed Jang Wonyoung made a cryptic comment about Yujin in one of the videos uploaded on IVE's YouTube channel.

Wonyoung said that she initially thought that Yujin was the leader of the group. The former didn't mean any harm by what she said, but it was the public's interpretation of her statement that triggered a back and forth between DIVEs.

They thought Wonyoung threw shade at Yujin by saying she didn't think the latter had leadership potential.

Another fan also uploaded a series of videos featuring Wonyoung and Yujin seemingly giving each other flak whenever they were together.

But those that have been supporting IVE were quick to defend the two newcomers. They said Wonyoung has always taken good care of Yujin because the latter is much younger than her.

They also said that Wonyoung must have made such comments about Yujin because they were both parts of IZ*ONE maknae line.

Other supporters also shared a conversation between the two performers that show just how close they really are.

Wonyoung told Yujin that she couldn't believe she was already an adult. And Yujin said that Wonyoung has always regarded her as a baby because of her age.

The text messages prove that there's no tension between Wonyoung and Yujin. And everything that's been said about an alleged feud is nothing more than rumors.

Wonyoung, Yujin Joined IVE After IZ*ONE 

IVE, which is short for I have, is a new K-pop group that consists of six members. On Dec. 1, they shattered records following the release of their album, "Eleven."

IVE is handled by Starship Entertainment, and they serve as the agency's first girl group since they launched WJSN in 2016.

Yujin is officially the leader of IVE. She joined Starship Entertainment in 2017 and debuted as an IZ*ONE member a year later. Other than her singing career, Yujin has also starred in different music videos. She also has brand deals with Pepsi, Burberry, and more.

Wonyoung was scouted by Starship Entertainment after she was spotted at her sister's graduation. She also serves as a brand ambassador for Miu Miu, Innisfree, and Chaumet.

Gaeul, Rei, Liz, Leeseo Complete IVE 

The other members of IVE include Gaeul, Rei, Liz, and Leeseo.

Gaeul is the oldest member of IVE. She trained with JYP Entertainment in 2017, but she later joined Starship Entertainment. She is also the resident rapper of IVE.

Rei is also a rapper and a vocalist for IVE. She is half Korean and half Japanese.

Liz, on the other hand, is the main vocalist of IVE. She's good in sports, dancing, and playing instruments. But she decided to drop out of school before the K-pop group debuted.

Leeseo is the youngest member of IVE, and she's also one of the group's vocalists.
