TWICE member Tzuyu is going viral in South Korea, especially on Twitter, following the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics. On February 8, various Twitter accounts started tweeting about Tzuyu, all because of South Korean speed skater Kim Min Seok.

During SBS's broadcast for the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics, a commentator from SBS introduced Kim Min Seok as an athlete who has the same birthday as TWICE member Tzuyu! The two were both born on June 14, 1999, making them official birthdate twins! What makes it even better is that Kim Min Seok has confessed that Tzuyu is his ideal type.

Back in 2018, Kim Min Seok appeared on "It's Dangerous Outside." There, he revealed that he really likes Tzuyu, and it was him who announced they are birthdate twins! The speed skater even confessed that meeting Tzuyu, the idol he adores, was even more stressful than competing in the Olympics.

The two also took polaroid photos together, which the speed skater shared to his Instagram account. Sadly, the post has either been deleted or archived, and it can no longer be found on his profile. However, they can easily be found online.

TWICE Tzuyu Goes Viral During 2020 Tokyo Olympics
However, this is not the first time the Taiwanese idol has gone viral during the Olympic season! On July 26, 2021, a Brazilian ONCE took to Twitter to joke that Tzuyu was participating in the Olympics, representing Taiwan for the archery category. The photos they used were of Tzuyu during the annual Idol Star Athletics Competition (ISAC).

The tweet spread like wildfire and was soon noticed by people who did not know about K-pop or Tzuyu. Soon, people believed that this visual idol was an Olympian! As she was viral for being a beautiful athlete, K-pop Twitter clarified that Tzuyu is an idol, though she is a skilled archer!
TWICE member Tzuyu often goes viral during the Olympics period thanks to her experience in archery during ISAC. In 2016, the idol first went viral for her archery after she shot an arrow. Though the arrow missed,the neck ended up hitting her hair, resulting in the idol's iconic hair flip.
