On Feb. 9, WikiProject Korea revealed the rankings of the most-viewed pages related to the Korean entertainment industry in January. Besides K-dramas, K-pop groups and soloists are also included in the list.

Through these rankings, it is easy to determine which topics are currently popular among internet users. The online visitors and page views are also among the official "social popularity indicators" of the US Billboard Social Chart and presidential election.

Among the K-pop solo artists, BTS V's Wikipedia page gained the most views, which makes him the most popular Korean soloist on the platform last month. His page ranked No. 18 with 280,129 views. According to WikiProject Korea, his page garners an average of 9,036 views per day.

This is not the first time V ranked first among male K-pop soloists or Korean solo artists overall. Since the official Wikipedia rankings were launched in January 2021, he has been reigning as No. 1.
For 13 consecutive months until January 2022, BTS V's Wikipedia is the most-viewed page of a male K-pop soloist. It has also been the most-viewed page of a K-pop solo artist for 11 months in a row from March 2021 to January of this year.

In 2021 alone, V recorded an average of 21,087 daily page views, a total of 7.69 million page views, and became the No. 1 most-viewed K-pop artist (personal page) on Wikipedia last year.

In December of last year, BTS V's Wikipedia page placed first in the individual rankings and seventh overall, showing his status as a "Social King" by being the only individual page to be in Korea's Top 10.
Apart from V, his group BTS also entered the Wikipedia rankings in January 2022. The septet ranked third with 679,001 total views (21,903 views per day). They are the most-viewed K-pop artist overall last month.
A Painting of BTS V Gets Featured in Ulsan Art Exhibition
In other news, a painting of BTS V was spotted at an art exhibition in Ulsan with the theme "Korea Fantasy." Korean painter Lee Dong Yeon made that beautiful painting for Taehyung (V's real name).

Lee Dong Yeon also shared a photo of her besides V's painting at the exhibition on her Instagram account. The exhibition was featured in Korean newspapers and the painting of the idol was also included.
