GOT The Beat Taeyeon and Seulgi Goes Candid on Their First Impressions of Each Other
Recently on February 9, GOT The Beat shared a new video on their Youtube channel called "Girls On Top: Let's get to the TOP."
In this video, GOT The Beat members BoA, Taeyeon, Hyoyeon, Wendy, Seulgi, Winter, and Karina played various games while answering several questions about their fellow GOT The Beat members. The seven members were also split into three groups to do the tasks.
In particular, Taeyeon and Seulgi, who were paired up together, was asked to describe their first impression of each other in just five characters.

After hearing the question and thinking for a few seconds, Taeyeon described Seulgi as "a bear in a coat." This is because Seulgi is called a bear as a nickname, and during their first meeting with each other years ago, Seulgi was sporting a coat at the time.

Taeyeon and Seulgi
Seulgi then became shy when it was her turn. But after contemplating how to describe her first impression of Taeyeon in just five characters, she turned to Taeyeon and asked, "Are you an angel?"
Upon hearing Seulgi's answer, Taeyeon couldn't help but screech in a high-toned voice, expressing her embarrassment with Seulgi's answer.

When talking about unit activities as GOT The Beat, Taeyeon expressed her happiness, saying, "It was fun to be able to work with various members through this opportunity."
Seulgi chimed in and expressed how proud she was, saying,"It was nice to be able to have a meaningful day with the [GOT The Beat] members today as well. I never imagined that I could appear on a music show with this combination [of members]."

GOT The Beat, also known as Girls On Top, is SM Entertainment's supergroup and the female counterpart of SuperM, and features seven members: BoA, Girls' Generation Taeyeon and Hyoyeon, Red Velvet's Wendy and Seulgi, and aespa's Winter and Karina.
