In recent days, the fancam of aespa member Winter for "Step Back" has continuously attracted the attention of internet users. As of February 11, just 12 days after the fancam was first posted, Winter's fancam has hit over 8.5 million views.

Winter's fancam is currently the third-most-viewed fourth-generation idol fancam, trailing behind ITZY's Ryujin and Stray Kids' Hyunjin.

People are now expressing mixed opinions over the video. Some questioned whether fans ran ads for the video to garner such high views. aespa fans admitted to running ads for the video but claimed they only did so for three days; therefore, the majority of the views the video received is natural.

Others wondered why the fancam was getting so many views when Winter's stage presence seemed lacking compared to the other GOT the Beat members.

As a result, people believe she will soon overthrow ITZY's Ryujin — whose "WANNABE" fancam is the most-viewed fourth-generation idol fan cam with 11 million views — and break her record.
