During an interview with Harper's Bazaar, Tzuyu revealed that her skin type is dry. Because of that, Tzuyu's skincare routine relies heavily on hydration. Tzuyu makes sure that her skincare products are all very moisturizing. One of her beauty secrets is that Tzuyu put on more than one mask on her face.

Because of this, fans have joked that when Tzuyu does her skincare, she looks like the Phantom from "The Phantom of the Opera."

Sometimes, instead of using two sheet masks, Tzuyu will apply one regular sheet mask and apply a silicone mask after. This will help the skin lock in the moisture from the mask and benefit from multiple ingredients at once.

During TWICE's reality show, Tzuyu revealed that her mother often sends her beauty products from Taiwan and that trying it out is part of her skincare routine.

Another part of Tzuyu's skincare is her eating habits. During a live stream held on Naver's V Live, Tzuyu confessed that she is not the type of person who always visits the dermatologist, though she has been a few times. There, she revealed that she does not eat meat (but does eat seafood). She has been doing this diet for nearly two years.

Since she is eating healthier foods, her skin has started to clear up! She revealed that she once tried to do an extreme diet and even starved herself, but she started feeling dizzy and it did not clear her skin.

Now, Tzuyu likes to eat at vegetarian restaurants and cafés. She claims that the food she eats directly affects her skin, so she does her best to eat only healthy food!
