BTS Jungkook Achieves New Milestone on iTunes

On Thursday, Feb. 17, reports confirmed that BTS Jungkook became the first K-pop idol to spend five days on top of the iTunes charts with his single, "Stay Alive."

He is the second K-pop artist to ever achieve this milestone since 2012. At the time, PSY also received the same recognition.

What's more, BTS Jungkook topped other international artists on the Worldwide iTunes Song Chart on Feb. 15. He bested the likes of Dr. Dre, Ed Sheeran, Elton John, and more.

Additionally, "Stay Alive" has also been named as the longest-charting Korean OST that ranked no. 1 on Worldwide iTunes charts.

Other tracks that made it to the charts include "Christmas Tree" that was there for four days, "Dream Glove" and "Yours" which were on the charts for three days, and "Sweet Night" that was on the charts for two days.

BTS Jungkook Shares Life Thoughts

In December 2021, BTS Jungkook sat down for an interview with Vogue Korea, where he talked about his journey as a member of BTS. Here, he also shared how much his life has changed since joining the K-pop group on June 12, 2013.

BTS Jungkook recounted the time when they held a show in 2014 and not many people knew who they were. So, they had to hand out flyers so that people would be intrigued to watch their show.
