APINK Eunji Workout and Diet Routine: Here’s How the ‘Dilemma’ Singer Stays Fit

Eunji rose to stardom after making her debut as the main vocalist of second-generation girl group, APINK, back in April 2011 under IST Entertainment (formerly Play M Entertainment). Soon, they became known for their innocent and pure image, that later turned sophisticated and sexy.

Like many in the K-Pop industry, Eunji is one of the idols who took on the challenge of losing a significant amount of weight, and more than 10 years later, she had managed to keep herself fit. With that, how did the APINK member lose weight and stay fit? Here's what we know about Eunji's diet and workout routine!

When Eunji first made her debut, the face of APINK became subjected to numerous criticisms regarding her weight and was fat-shamed, despite her incredible vocals.

Eunji eventually faced public pressure to lose more weight, and even resorted to extreme measures to do so, such as consuming "weight loss" pills that would help her lose appetite, and even going as far as consuming more than the prescribed dosage.

These extreme measures eventually led her to have serious health issues, such as being unable to sing for several months and spiraling into depression.

But years later, Eunji found a different and healthier way to lose weight through gradual progress and a better diet. And now, she weighs around 45kg to 49kg and is fit as ever!

When it comes to her workout routine, dance practices had been her main form of workout during her earlier years in the industry, with her dance sessions usually a minimum of an hour and a half.

But as Eunji is now active as an actress as well and with APINK having lesser comebacks, her main form of workout shifted to hitting the gym!

On most days, Eunji would visit the gym and work alongside her personal trainer who aids her in her training sessions.

Eunji doesn't shy away from lifting weights, and would do various workouts such as bench press, leg press, pull-ups, squats, and more. Of course, she also squeezes in a cardio during her workouts!

Aside from weightlifting, Eunji also practices yoga, which helps warm up, cool down, and tone her body.

However, working out isn't just to lose weight for Eunji, but she does this to keep herself healthy and her body strong.

When it comes to Eunji's diet plan, she doesn't restrict herself as much anymore like she did in the past. Now, she goes for more healthier yet fulfilling meals.

As much as possible, Eunji would lean more towards the healthier and cleaner food, like boiled chicken with thyme and other spices.
