Charli XCX and SEVENTEEN Vernon have been teasing fans with a possible collaboration, and it's obvious that they could no longer wait!

It all started on Feb. 7 after Charli XCX tweeted SEVENTEEN Vernon to ask if he wanted to collaborate with her.

Shortly after, Vernon replied to Charli XCX and said that he was open to collaborating with her.

The K-pop idol also admitted that he couldn't believe Charli XCX reached out to him via social media.

Days later, the "Boom Clap" singer was asked by fans if her collaboration with SEVENTEEN Vernon is in the works.

Charli XCX clarified nothing has been finalized yet, although she confirmed that A.G. Cook already received the files for her upcoming remixes.

According to sources, the singer previously announced she would be dropping three remixes for her hit song, "Beg For You." So, it's possible that one of the remixes will feature SEVENTEEN Vernon.

And if this wasn't enough, fans of the K-pop idol also saw that Vernon is following Charli XCX on social media.

Some fans are also convinced that the collab would be release sometime in March.

Recently, Charli XCX announced that her new album, "Crash" will be released on March 18.

Last year, SEVENTEEN Vernon sat down for an interview with W Magazine, where he revealed that he revealed that he loves singing to Charli XCX's song in the shower.

The hashtag #VernonWakeUp also became trending on social media after Charli XCX tweeted the SEVENTEEN member.

Charli XCX Teams Up With BTS, TWICE

Charli XCX's possible collaboration with SEVENTEEN Vernon won't be her first within the world of K-pop. On June 7, the singer dropped her collaboration of "Dream Glow" with BTS Jin, Jimin, and Jungkook.

"Dream Glow" was featured in the soundtrack for the netmarble game, BTS World.

In 2019, Charli XCX also teamed up with MNEK on TWICE's song, "Girls Like Us."
