Stray Kids Bang Chan has the best explanation as to why K-pop idols do not always sing live during their performances.

Here's Why K-pop Idols Don't Always Perform Live

During his regular live stream, Stray Kids Bang Chan also debunked the misconception that some K-pop idols are not talented singers that's why they can't perform live for their fans.

According to him, K-pop idols have rigorous schedules that start very early in the morning and end very late at night.

So, there are some instances that a soloist or a K-pop group has to attend several meetings before they get on stage to perform. By then, their voices would already be hoarse from too much talking, so they can't really sing well for their fans anymore.

In these cases, the K-pop idol's pre-recordings are the ones that are played during their live performance. This way, the fans can still see their idol perform, and the K-pop star doesn't have to put more pressure on their voice.

Stray Kids Bang Chan also said that there are usually two types of recording.

There's one that's recorded on stage and another one that's recorded in the studio. The latter is also made to sound like a live performance on stage.

Stray Kids Bang Chan's explanation proves that K-pop idols do not have any intention to hide the fact that they do not always sing live. He added that all K-pop idols are talented singers because if they are not then they wouldn't have debuted in the first place.
