BTS RM Purchased His First Home in 2019
According to reports, BTS RM continued living in a dorm alongside BTS Jimin up until last year.
Even though he already purchased a property in the Hannam The Hill complex in November 2019, he still spent most of his time in the dorm because it was more accessible.
Shortly after he purchased the luxury apartment, BTS RM decided to sell it.
In March 2021, he bought another property in the Nine One Hannam complex. BTS Jimin also resides in the same apartment complex.
Reports revealed that RM's apartment boasts almost 300 square meters of living space, and he paid over $5 million in property in cash.

Nine One Hannam is a popular choice among K-pop idols. Other than BTS RM and Jimin, BIGBANG leader G-Dragon also owns a unit in the complex.
The apartments in the area also boast stunning views and top-notch security systems, which make it the perfect choice for celebrities.
BTS RM Stayed in His Dorm Until 2021
However, RM obviously took time before he put his money on his own home while the other members of the K-pop group already purchased their properties a long time ago.
This is primarily because of BTS RM's busy schedule.
Since he knew he would spend most of his time inside the studio at HYBE, it just didn't seem practical for him to shell out a huge amount on his own home.
Other than this, BTS RM also has a tight schedule, and there are times when he travels for a couple of days or weeks.

So, he thought of waiting for the perfect moment before he purchased his luxury apartment.
But with the pandemic still affecting South Korea and other parts of the world, BTS RM is now able to spend more time at home.
In fact, he regularly shares photos of his apartment on Instagram.

BTS RM and the other members of the K-pop group are all successful, but they have different life stories to share.
RM is considered a genius because his IQ is reportedly 148. While he was still in school, he learned how to speak Korean and Japanese fluently. He also learned how to speak English by watching episodes of "Friends."
During his speech at the 2018 United Nations General Assembly, he described himself as an ordinary boy from Ilsan.

However, he's far from being ordinary. He's been praised many times for being an excellent rapper, singer, performer, and more. And he also started writing songs at a young age.
