IU Inspired Jung Eun Pyo's Son

Actor Jung Eun Pyo's son, Jung Ji Woong, appeared on the creative content channel "Studio Sha."

During his interview, Ji Woong shared how IU unknowingly inspired him to study at the Seoul National University.

Ji Woong shared that he deleted all his social media accounts while he was in third-year high school. The only thing he saw were posts related to entrance exams.

The day before his entrance exam at the Seoul National University, Ji Woong said that he saw IU's cheering videos.

Ji Woong was struggling to sleep at the time but after seeing IU's cheering video, he felt more relaxed and happy.

The actor's son said that seeing IU's video has so much impact on him and he will forever be grateful to the K-pop idol.

IU's Special Bond With Uaenas

IU has a special relationship with her fans, also known as Uaenas.

Unlike some celebrities, IU does not just accept gifts from her supporters. There are times when she is the one that surprises them.

In 2019, IU attended a fan's graduation ceremony at Gimje Girls' High School after promising the Uaena that she would be there.

Photos of IU arriving at the high school with a huge bouquet of flowers and a present for the fan went viral on social media.

IU also appreciates all the efforts that her fans put into supporting the causes that are close to her heart.

So, in 2017, she decided to join them at a charity event. After the event, IU needed to be elsewhere but she decided to cancel it so that she could eat with Uaenas.

IU also treated her fans with signed photos and handwritten letters from other South Korean personalities.

Previous reports also claimed that IU once gave a fan an Audio-Technica microphone that costs $3,000 after learning that she's also a budding singer.

In 2019, Uaenas held a birthday party for IU even though they thought that she would only be there in spirit. But to everyone's surprise, IU arrived at the event to bond with her fans.

IU is a 28-year-old singer, songwriter, and actress from South Korea.

Her real name is Lee Ji-Eun and her pseudonym, IU stands for "I" and "you" that when put together means that you and I come together because of music.
