T-ARA Hyomin Ends Relationship With Soccer Player Hwang Ui Jo Two Months After Announcement
On March 8 KST, it was reported by media outlets that T-ARA member Hyomin and soccer player Hwang Ui Jo have decided to end their romantic relationship.
A representative of Hyomin told media outlets:
"We would like to convey our position regarding the dating rumors which was sparked back in January of this year. At the time of the dating rumors, it is true that they were in the process of meeting each other with good feelings. However, due to the burdensome situation, they naturally drifted apart, and have now decided to remain as acquaintances who support each other."

Back on January 3, media outlet Sports Chosun had exclusively reported that Hyomin was in a relationship with Hwang Ui Jo, who plays as a forward for the French Ligue 1 soccer team FC Girondins de Bordeaux in France and the South Korean national soccer team.
Hyomin and Hwang Ui Jo had reportedly been seeing each other since November 2021. They met through an acquaintance and later developed romantic interests in each other.
The two had been in a long distance relationship because Hwang Ui Jo is based in France, while Hyomin is in South Korea.

Following the reports, Dispatch had publicized photos of the two on a holiday in Switzerland back in December. However, neither parties involved confirmed or denied the dating rumors, as both were not represented by a management agency at the time, hence, they were unable to respond to media outlets' inquiries.
Two months after reports of their relationship, the T-ARA member and Hwang Ui Jo split due to the pressure caused by the revelation of their dating news.
T-ARA Hyomin Latest Activities
Back in May 2021, Hyomin parted ways with Sublime Artist Agency after her exclusive contract with the label expired.
Aside from her activities as a singer, Hyomin has been pursuing acting. In 2021, Hyomin starred as the main role for the film "Follower."

She also participated as a contestant on the JTBC variety program, "Cooking - The Birth of a Cooking King." She was also a cast member of MBC's "Cele Beauty+."
In November 2021, T-ARA reunited and returned with a comeback for the first time in four years with their second single album "Re:T-ARA," which was in collaboration with Dingo Music.
The album, which was released on November 15, consists of two tracks: "Tiki Taka" and "All Kill."
