Gaon Chart Announces New Certifications for March 2022: ENHYPEN, Ke1per, TWICE, More!

On March 10, Gaon Chart announced the new batch of K-Pop albums and songs that have been certified this month in terms of album sales, song downloads, and online streaming.

ENHYPEN, TWICE, ITZY, and Kep1er Earn Album Certifications on Gaon Chart in March 2022

Over on Gaon Chart's album sales category, Belift Lab's artist ENHYPEN and their first repackaged album, "DIMNESION: ANSWER," received a double platinum certification after selling more than 500,000 album copies since its release back on January 10 of this year.

This marks ENHYPEN's fourth album to receive a double platinum certification, following the release of their three previous albums.

The "Nation's Girl Group," TWICE, also earned themselves a new certification by Gaon Chart. For this month, TWICE's eight mini album "Feel Special" also received a double platinum certification after having more than 500,000 album copies sold since its release back on September 13, 2019.

Notably, their album "Feel Special" debut atop Gaon Chart's weekly album chart at the time of its release, and was even named as the group's best-selling album until it was surpassed by their following mini album "More & More" in 2020.

Rising rookie girl group, Ke1per, and their debut mini album "FIRST IMPACT," which was released recently on January 3, has so far sold more than 250,000 album copies, earning the group their first-ever platinum certification by Gaon Chart.

Another group who earned a platinum certification is ITZY. After their third mini album, "Not Shy" surpassed 250,000 album copies sold since its release on August 17, 2020.

Jang Beom June Earn Download Certification on Gaon Chart in March 2022

For Gaon Chart's download category, only solo artist Jang Beom June received a certification this month.

Jang Beom June earned a platinum certification after surpassing more than 2.5 million song downloads for "Your Shampoo Scent in the Flowers," which is an original soundtrack for the 2019 JTBC drama "Melo is my Nature."

BTS and 'Show Me The Money 9' Rappers Mirani, Munchman, Khundi Panda, and MUSHVENOM Earn Streaming Certification in March 2022

And lastly, for the streaming category, Gaon Chart announced that global superstars BTS had earned a platinum certification with their second English digital release, "Butter," after hitting 100 million online streams since its release back on May 21, 2021.

Notably, "Butter" had entered at the Gaon Digital Chart at No. 4 and at No. 34 on their streaming chart, while the song debuted atop Gaon's Download Chart at the time of its release.

By July 2021, "Butter" had already sold more than 2.5 million physical copies of their single album, making "Butter" one of the best-selling albums in South Korea.
