ENHYPEN Sunghoon Named the K-Pop Idols Who Look the Best in Sportswear
StarPlay, a global idol application, held a poll titled "Which sports idol looks the best in sportswear?" The poll lasted for two weeks, from February 17 to March 3. The nominees were all idols who are known for their immense athleticism.

Ranking in number one is ENHYPEN member Sunghoon! The male idol looks amazing in sportswear thanks to his unrivaled physical strength and outstanding athletic skills. The ENHYPEN member received 57.60% of the votes.

It is no surprise the male idol won this poll. Before becoming a K-pop idol, he was a professional figure skater!

Sunghoon started figure skating in 2010 when he was just eight years old, and competed professionally for ten years. During the 2015-2016 figure skating season, Sunghoon won two international advanced novice competitions — the Lombardia Trophy and the Asian Figure Skating Trophy. When he became age-eligible, Sunghoon made his junior debut during the 2016-17 figure skating season.

Sunghoon won a silver medal at the Asian Figure Skating Trophy and participated in Estonia's ISU Junior Grand Prix. There, he represented South Korea. The following year, Sunghoon won the silver medal again at the Asian Figure Skating Trophy and participated in Poland's ISU Junior Grand Prix.

During the 2018-2019 season, Sunghoon joined the senior competitions. Sunghoon participated in the Asian Figure Skating Trophy, the Alpen Trophy, and two ISU Challenger Series events.

The idol is known to be one of the most promising figure skaters in the country. He was able to master several high-level tricks and moves, such as the Triple Axel.
Sunghoon retired from skating in 2020 after he became a K-pop trainee. Although he is no longer a professional athlete, the years of training have definitely helped him.
He is gentle and flexible when dancing, and is known for his long limbs, wide shoulders, and enviable proportions. He is also known for his superior fashion sense, often dubbed the best-dressed member of ENHYPEN.

Because of his figure skating experience, his dance lines and powerful and expressive. The charisma he had on the ice is now on the stage!
On top of being a member of ENHYPEN, Sunghoon is currently an MC for the KBS 2TV music program "Music Bank." He is leading the program brilliantly with his neat hosting skills, and pleasant energy. In 2021, he won the "Best Couple Award" at the 2021 KBS Entertainment Awards with Jang Wonyoung.
