BTS is the No. 1 Most Popular Boy Group in March 2022

Once again snagging the top spot of this month's brand reputation rankings for boy groups is none other than "Butter" hitmakers BTS!

According to the Korean Business Research Institute, the seven-piece boy band had gathered a total brand reputation index of 11,704,137 for March, along with a participation index of 1,185,530, a media index of 3,733,350, a communication index of 3,341,894, and a community index of 3,443,363.

For the month of March, BTS' brand reputation index saw a decrease of 2.34 percent compared to their index of 11,984,394 back in February.

As for BTS' related terms, the group's highest-ranking are "perform," "hold," and "be together," while their highest-ranking phrases for keyword analysis include "concert," "Jamsil Stadium," and "ARMY."

In terms of the global superstars' positive-negative ratio, BTS has a positive ratio analyzed to be 76.05 percent.

Following behind BTS as the second most popular boy group for March 2022 is BTOB!

For this month, BTOB had accumulated a brand reputation index of 3,857,051, with a participation index of 453,676, a media index of 1,646,204, a communication index of 769,388, and a community index of 987,784.

Compared to BTOB's brand reputation index of 1,627,795 back in February, they saw an increase of a whopping 136.95 percent for this month.

Taking the third spot as the most popular boy group is Pledis Entertainment's top boy group, SEVENTEEN!

According to the Korean Business Research Institute, SEVENTEEN has a total brand reputation index of 3,408,409 for March, with a participation index of 389,834, a media index of 1,231,647, a communication index of 686,700, and a community index of 1,100,228.

This month, SEVENTEEN's brand reputation index fell by 5.60 percent compared to their index of 3,610,624 in February.

Meanwhile, the brand reputation rankings is based on the total reputation index of boy groups by analyzing each of their consumer participation, media coverage, communication, and community indexes from the big data gathered from February 12 to March 12.

The big data gathered for March 2022 is 56,633,381, which is an increase of 16.50 percent from the big data of 67,823,738 gathered back in February.
