After surpassing over 11 million views on YouTube, aespa Winter's "Step Back" video also beat Ryujin's "WANNABE" fancam video.

Other than this, aespa Winter's "Step Back" video was also named as the fastest fancam to reach 10 million views on YouTube.

After just 23 days since it was uploaded, Winter's fancam video beat EXID Hani and BLACKPINK Lisa's clips.

As of writing, aespa Winter is also the only K-pop idol under SM Entertainment to have a fancam video with more than 10 million views.

MYs are, of course, celebrating aespa Winter's recent success. Other than this, the K-pop group has also been enjoying their achievements.

Even if it's only been two years, aespa already received a slew of awards like the Seoul Music Awards Bonsang Awards, the Golden Disc Award Song Division, and more. 

aespa's December Interview Revisited

In December 2021, aespa spoke candidly with Harper's Bazaar about their personalities and interests.

aespa Winter revealed that she has an obsession with checkered patterns. At the time, she just purchased a red-colored checkered-print outfit.

However, this has not made Winter a bit too extra. She revealed that aespa Karina is the one that dresses impressively.

In fact, even when they are just training, she wears knitwear and jeans instead of workout clothes.

aespa Giselle admitted that she is not very quick at learning dances because she did not train as long as the other members of the group.

But Giselle also shared that she has a knack for memorizing song lyrics.

Even though learning dances are a bit challenging for aespa Giselle, Karina praised her by saying that she is the most improved member of the group.

When asked about their personalities, aespa Winter revealed that she is an introvert, while the other members of the group are extroverts. But Winter also balances the group.

In September 2021, aespa sat down for an interview with Vogue Singapore where they talked about their passions. 

aespa Karina said that she is the dancer of the group while aespa Giselle is the singer and rapper.

aespa Winter, on the other hand, said that she is all about using her body to express herself, and aespa Ningning wanted to focus more on hip-hop.
