'We Got Divorced 2' Teaser: Former U-Kiss Eli, Ji Yeon Soo Confess Pain Following Breakup
Former married couple Eli (formerly of U-Kiss) and Ji Yeon Soo are making rounds online following the release of the teaser for TV Chosun's "We Got Divorced 2."
In the broadcast, Ji Yeon Soo is seen venting out to her ex-husband, hinting at the reason they separated.
Ji Yeon Soo Hints at Eli's Parents Unfair Treatment to Her Before Divorce: 'I was an ATM for your family!'
In the teaser clip revealed on Mar. 16, Eli, a former U-Kiss member and Ji Yeon Soo, a former racing car model reunited for the first time after divorce in November 2020.
The video gave a minute of shock and thrill to viewers after the former couple let out their anger to each other.
In the teaser video, Ji Yeon Soo shed tears so much that she couldn't even breathe out, saying:
"When I think about it, our marriage is suffocating and dark enough to hide my eyes. It was like hell for me (for the past seven years)."
In another scene, the two sat down face to face and started their heart-to-heart talk.
Eli started the conversation with the question:
"Do you know why I asked to divorce you?"
The scene then transitioned to furious Ji Yeon Soo shouting:
"Do you have the right to say something? I was an ATM for your family! I was an emotional trash can!"

Badmouthing his parents, Eli also screamed and said he can't stand her ex-wife swearing at his parents.
In response, Ji Yeon Soo burst out and said:
"They are your parents, but I'm a victim."

In the same teaser, the two sat down on a sofa and talked in a more relaxed manner. Eli sincerely asked:
"Do you only want to remember bad things?
Yeon Soo revealed her resentment and replied:
" All memories I have were bad."
When Eli further asked if she wants to continue living with such memories, the female confessed she wants to get away from it, but added:
"I've been with you for 10 years. But if I erase it, I won't have it."
When Eli finally said, "I'm sorry," Ji's eyes bursted sad tears while confessing:
"You were once my universe and you were the whole world to me."
Eli approaches Ji Yeon Soo, who is crying and hugs her warmly at the end.
This raises questions and expectations about the real reason the two people, who once loved each other so much, had no choice but to turn south, and whether they will be able to wash away their resentment and antagonism and be in a "new relationship" again.
The production team added to look forward to their episode, as Eli's inner feelings which were not in the teaser will be revealed as well.
On the other hand, TV Chosun's "We Got Divorced 2" will premiere on April 8, a program that sheds new light on marital relationships by meeting again and living in one house for a few days.
