Stray Kids Makes History on Billboard Charts
On March 28, Billboard announced that Stray Kids' sixth Korean-language mini-album, "ODDINARY," debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 charts. The Billboard 200 charts list the most popular albums in the United States.
This is not only Stray Kids' first chart-topper, but also their first entry in general.

Stray Kids is the third Korean artist in history to achieve this feat. The only two other K-pop artists to ever hit number one on the Billboard 200 chart are, as of the time of writing, BTS and SuperM.
According to Luminate, "ODDINARY" achieved the biggest sales week in the United States of any album released so far in 2022. "ODDINARY" reportedly earned a total of 110,000 equivalent album sales during the week ending on March 24. The total album score for "ODDINARY" consisted of 103,000 traditional physical album sales and 6,5000 streaming equivalent album (SEA) units. This is the most album sold in 2022.

This translates to 10.09 million on-demand audio streams in just over the course of a week.
"ODDINARY" is only the 13th mostly non-English album to top the Billboard 200. The last Korean-language album to do so is BTS's "BE" on December 5, 2020. Of the 13 that topped the Billboard 200, BTS recorded the most, with five of them being theirs.

Though this is Stray Kids' first time on the Billboard 200 chart, they have seen success on other Billboard Charts. Following the release of "ODDINARY," the group snagged number one on the Billboard Top Album Sales Chart. They garnered the largest sales week of any album released in 2022.
Additionally, they have charted on the Billboard World Albums chart a total of ten times.

A day before the mini-album's release, Stray Kids set a new record as JYP Entertainment's most pre-ordered albums, with over 1.3 million copies in pre-orders sold. According to the Hanteo Chart, "ODDINARY" sold 855,021 copies sold. The Stray Kids album debuted at the top of the Gaon Album Chart.
