On March 28, a rumor from China to Vietnam circulated regarding the lineup of new captains for "Street Dance of China" Season 5. The three celebrities that are being named online are BLACKPINK Lisa, Cai Xukun and Wang Yibo.

Wang Yibo has been a captain on "Street Dance of China" since season 3. If true, both Cai Xukun and Lisa will be new additions to the survival show.
Previously, Cai Xukun and Lisa worked together as mentors on the iQiyi survival show "Youth With You 2." The two appeared close and friendly, sparking dating rumors in China.
Reactions to the rumor are mixed. Some people believe the chances of Lisa joining the popular Chinese dance survival show as a captain are slim to none. Many believe she is not suitable for the position, and BLACKPINK is busy developing activities in the American and European markets.
Because of that, it seems unlikely she will suddenly be sent to work in China.

Some comments with this stance read, "The show doesn't need Lisa," "This is not a diss on her dance skills, but Lisa is not suitable for this position," and "I think BLACKPINK is targeting the European market more and are less involved in China."
However, Lisa is the most popular BLACKPINK member in China. Even though BLACKPINK was already famous in America, she was sent to China to work as a mentor on "Youth With You 2" and returned virtually for "Youth With You 3." Due to her fame in China, people believe it is possible she could make a comeback in the country as a captain on "Street Dance of China 5."
