JinE was only active in the girl group from April 2015 to August 2016. On Aug. 25, 2016, WM Entertainment announced her hiatus from activities to focus on receiving treatment for anorexia nervosa.
The label also said that she has been showing symptoms of the said illness after debut and has been going to the hospital to receive treatment.

Due to her health issues, she did not participate in Oh My Girl's fourth EP "Coloring Book." She has since been unable to take part in any albums as she ultimately left the group in October 2017.
