NMIXX Covers BLACKPINK's 'Kill This Love' in New Rendition
Recently during the afternoon of April 1, Youtube channel "it's LIVE" shared a new video on their channel featuring JYP Entertainment's rookie girl group, NMIXX, as part of their "it's KPOP LIVE" series.
In the video, the seven-piece girl group can be seen donning matching grey ensembles against a blue backdrop. Along with NMIXX is a live band.
For this video, the members gave a live performance of BLACKPINK's hit song "Kill This Love." While most would cover a song closely to its original version, members Sullyoon, Jinni, Bae, Lily, Haewon, Jiwoo, and Kyujin decided to perform their own rendition of the song.

In NMIXX's cover of "Kill This Love," the members performed the song with a much more slower melody. They gave emphasis to several parts of the song that is different to the original version.
NMIXX's version of "Kill This Love" did not include any fast raps. Each of the members were able to showcase their vocal talents, as well as their impressive harmonization in this cover.
The video is quickly rising to the top of Youtube's trending videos. Currently, it has more than 940,000 views as of this writing. They are garnering a lot of attention from both fans and non-fans.
