On March 28, NCT Dream came back with their second studio album "Glitch Mode," which contains the title track of the same name plus 10 B-side songs.

On April 4, Hanteo Chart officially announced the first-week sales of "Glitch Mode". The full-length album sold a whopping 1,405,199 copies in the March 28-April 3 tracking period.

It is worth noting that NCT Dream's "Glitch Mode" had already soared past one million sales on Hanteo in just three days. In comparison, the group's previous album "Hot Sauce" took six days to reach one million sales.

And, in only four days, "Glitch Mode" already broke NCT Dream's previous first-week sales record of 1,010,766 copies set by "Hot Sauce" last year. "Glitch Mode" had sold a total of 1,286,894 copies by the end of April 1.
With over 1.4 million copies sold, NCT Dream's "Glitch Mode" has now broken the historic record of fifth-highest first-week sales of any K-pop album on Hanteo. The initial record was held by SEVENTEEN's "Your Choice," which sold 1,364,127 copies in 2021.

"Glitch Mode" now comes behind four BTS albums, such as "MAP OF THE SOUL: 7" (No. 1), "BE" (No. 2), "MAP OF THE SOUL: PERSONA" (No. 3), and "Butter" (No. 4).
On the top 10 list of highest first-week sales in Hanteo history, NCT Dream now has two entries: "Glitch Mode" (No. 5) and "Hot Sauce" (No. 9). The rest of 10 are secured by BTS and SEVENTEEN.
Furthermore, NCT Dream's "Glitch Mode" is now the K-pop album released in 2022 with the highest first-week sales, surpassing Stray Kids' "ODDINARY".

In related news, NCT Dream has also broken their personal record for the second most-viewed music video in the first 24 hours with "Glitch Mode."

Twenty-four hours after the "Glitch Mode" MV came out, it accumulated a total of 30,260,324 views. It becomes their second MV to hit 30 million views within 24 hours after "Hot Sauce." It was the most-watched MV in the world at that time.
NCT Dream's "Glitch Mode" MV also now follows "Hot Sauce" as the group's most-viewed music video. "Hot Sauce" recorded 34.2 million views in 2021.

Other than this, "Glitch Mode" is also now has the most views within 24 hours among the K-pop MVs released in 2022. It surpassed NMIXX's "O.O" which only gained 19,791,079 views.
Among the music videos released by SM Entertainment, NCT Dream's "Glitch Mode" now has the third-highest views in the first 24 hours, following "Hot Sauce" (34.2 million) and aespa's "Savage" (30.7 million views).
At the time it hit 30.26 million views, the "Glitch Mode" MV also garnered 1.1 million likes and over 131,000 comments.
As of this writing, NCT Dream's "Glitch Mode" MV has more than 44.6 million views, 1.4 million likes, and over 186,000 comments.
