Following 2NE1's surprise Coachella performance, Sandara Park leaves a sweet message for CL, Minzy and Bom, and fans can't help but cry.

Back on April 16 local time, legendary second-generation girl group 2NE1 surprised fans, especially Blackjacks (2NE1 fandom), when they reunited and performed as a whole group at this year's Coachella as part of 88rising's "Head In The Clouds Forever" set, which marked 2NE1's first live performance in nearly seven years following their disbandment.
The four members, CL, Park Bom, Sandara Park, and Minzy made a jaw dropping entrance and performed their hit song, "I Am The Best," following after CL's own solo stage at the music festival.

Sandara Park also brought back her iconic gravity-defying hairstyle, also known as the "Vegeta" hairstyle, in reference to the "Dragon Ball" character of the same name who sports the same hairdo.
Not long after their performance, which brought tears to many, the members took to their respective social media accounts to share photos and messages of the quartet's experience at Coachella 2022.

More recently, Sandara Park updated her social media with a set of new photos featuring her sporting a punk rock outfit with heeled Crocs (yes, heeled!), a stuffed teddy bear, and her iconic hairstyle.
Along with her photos, the 2NE1 member also added a short, yet impactful caption that says:
"Instead of being pretty, I chose to be 2NE1."
Blackjacks Are Crying at Sandara Park's Message
Although her caption seemed simple, Blackjacks couldn't help but cry with happy hearts at the message behind it.
Since 2NE1's debut back in July 2009, the members had been subjected to numerous criticisms about their looks and visuals, especially as the group is known for their experimental and unconventional music and fashion, which went against South Korea's stereotypes and standards.

Although Sandara Park was the visual of the group, she still drew many hate for her unique and bold hairstyles.

Hence, Sandara Park's message of saying she chooses to be part of 2NE1, and being with her fellow members instead of just being pretty was seen as a clapback to all of the group's haters and showed her love for CL, Park Bom, and Minzy.
Numerous Blackjacks left comments under the idol's post, praising Sandara Park for her wise words, while others expressed their admiration for 2NE1's beauty.
