What is Brand Customer Loyalty Awards?
On May 3, the Korea Consumer Forum along with Brand Keys announced the winners of its 2022 Brand Customer Loyalty Awards.
Before the full list of winners, the Brand Customer Loyalty Awards is an event that selects and awards the most influential brands in society and popular culture through a national consumer survey every year.
The event was hosted and organized by the Korea Consumer Forum. The results are certified by the forum itself along with the top 10 U.S. brand consulting institutions Brand Keys, and this year, it marks its seventh anniversary, making the ceremony more special.
Meanwhile, the aforementioned forum publishes loyalty indexes in 35 countries around the world.
To determine the winners, it surveyed the loyalty of Korean brands, and about 41 artists were selected as winners who gained the most loyalty from people and culture.
2022 Brand Customer Loyalty Winners
In the list, 2PM Lee Junho grabbed the Grand Prize from the Brand Customer Loyalty Awards after winning the "Male Actor" title.
The idol-turned actor particularly drew massive attention for his hit drama, "The Red Sleeve," which was the most anticipated work in the second half of 2021.
Kep1er has also proven its status as "Rookie Monster," earning the female rookie idol title thanks to its shining presence through its debut song, "WA DA DA."

In the list, STAYC and TREASURE showcased their continuously rising fame as well, as the two groups bagged trophies for the female and male rising stars, respectively.
Among soloists, Kang Daniel and Girls' Generation Taeyeon flaunted their unrelenting popularity and won the awards for male and female solo singers, consecutively.
