LE SSERAFIM's Debut a Success? 7 Best Achievements of Group So Far
Despite multiple controversies ahead of their debut, LE SSERAFIM's performance didn't disappoint the K-pop industry with their current achievements so far.
LE SSERAFIM, the first girl group of HYBE x Source Music is staging a rave parade in the music industry.
Although the sextet initially faced issues including Kim Garam's school bullying allegations and HYBE allegedly objectifying the members, the female act is off to a good start with their seven best records as of the moment.
LE SSERAFIM Flaunts Power With Physical Album Sales, Records

Even before their debut, the "FEARLESS" singers showed the potential of a "group with a different class" after recording more than 380,000 stock pre-orders.
During the actual sales, LE SSERAFIM set their first and new record with 176,861 copies on the day of its release, the highest sales among K-pop girl groups in history.
On the second day of actual sales, LE SSERAFIM sold 65,409, having a cumulative sales of 240,000 copies in just two days. With 2,270 copies, they broke the record of the previous girl group's debut album with the highest first-week sales which sold 227,399 copies.
Second, during the first week of its release, LE SSERAFIM sold a total of 307,450 copies, ranking ninth among girl groups with the highest first-week sales in Hanteo history.
Third, among all the girl groups in history, only six teams, including the six-member group have surpassed 300,000 copies. What makes their record more significant is that they are the first girl group to record more than 300,000 album copies with their debut album.
LE SSERAFIM's Digital Achievements Showcased Group's Influence Globally
Meanwhile, aside from their feats based on physical sales, LE SSERAFIM also established their status as "monster rookies" with their digital achievements.
Following the aforementioned tracks, the fourth feat is how their first mini-album, "FEARLESS" also topped the Oricon weekly digital album chart for its May 16 rankings (counting period from 2 to 8 days). The album also topped the digital album download chart.

Fifth, right after the release of the album, all the songs on the album charted on local music sites including Bugs and Japanese line music, and the title song "Fearless" charted on Spotify's "Global Top 200" for three consecutive days as well.
Sixth, the official MV for LE SSERAFIM's "FEARLESS" officially surpassed 50 million views, just a week after its release.
Seventh, last but not least, LE SSERAFIM surprised the K-pop scene with how quickly they won their first-ever #1 trophy on music shows. On May 10, the group snagged their first music show win during their performance at the SBS MTV's "The Show," just eight days after their debut.
