YOUNITE are a K-Pop boy group with many members and many talents - each shining brightly in harmony on and off the stage.

Now, one month after debuting on April 20, 2022, the boys met with us to reflect on their pre-debut emotions and current status as popular rookie idols.

With the release of their EP 'Youni-Birth' (a creative mix of the group name and universe), the 9-member boy group are ready to prove how their synergy helps them stand out among the other newly debuted groups. Members Hyungseok, Eunho, DEY, Eunsang, Woono, Steve, Hyunseung, Sion, and Kyungmun each plan to reflect all the support they received from fans into every future performance. 1. YOUNITE has many talents. What sets YOUNITE apart from other new K-Pop groups?

HYUNGSEOK: "We are unique because each member has their own charm! Each of us is very different from the other, but we create great synergy as a team, which I think fans will love!"

유나이트는 실력파 멤버분들로 이루어져 있는데요, 기존 케이팝 아이돌과는 다른 YOUNITE만의 특별한 점이 있다면 무엇일까요?

형석: "정말 9명의 멤버가 모두 매력이 다른게 제일 특별한 것 같습니다! 신기하게 하나도 겹치지 않지만 하나로 모였을 땐 새로운 시너지가 발생하니 팬분들은 더 좋아해 주실 것 같아요!"

2. How does it feel to already have so much support from fans pre-debut?

WOONO: "It doesn't feel so real yet. I've never got so much love and attention so I feel nervous, but I'm thanking our fans every day."

EUNHO: "Sometimes I get overwhelmed by the love from fans because I've been waiting for our debut for so long, but it always feels great! I always remind myself that we need to perfect everything to meet our fans' expectations and to give back their support and love!"

데뷔 전부터 팬들로부터 많은 관심과 사랑을 받아왔는데요, 이에 대해 어떻게 생각하시나요?

우노: "아직까진 크게 실감이 나질 않아서 기분이 신기합니다. 사실 이렇게 많은 사랑과 관심을 받아 본
적이 없어서 그런지 항상 떨리지만 팬 여러분들께 늘 감사드립니다."

은호: "오랫동안 기다려온 데뷔라 그런지 팬분들의 사랑이 어색하지만 기분은 늘 좋습니다! 하지만 저희를
믿고 좋아해 주시는 것만큼 잘 해야 한다는 마음가짐을 늘 생각하고 있습니다!"

3. What is a track from the YOUNI-BIRTH all fans should listen to?

DEY: "I recommend 'EVERYBODY' because it is full of our powerful and free-spirited energy. I think we can really feel our charms through this song!"

EUNSANG: "I really like '1 of 9'. Our average age is 20 and a half years old, and this song captured the very fresh, bubbly energy of the early 20s. I think our fans will enjoy this track!"

데뷔앨범 [YOUNI-BIRTH] 수록곡 중 팬분들이 꼭 들어주셨으면 하는 트랙은 무엇인가요?

데이: "저희가 갖고 있는 파워풀하고 자유분방한 에너지를 잘 표현할 수 있는 'EVERYBODY'를 팬분들께 추천드립니다! 저희의 매력을 아주 잘 느끼실 수 있는 곡이라고 생각합니다!"

은상: "저는 1 of 9에 더욱 애정이 가는데요, 아무래도 저희 평균 나이대가 20.5세이다 보니, 상큼한 20대 초반의 에너지를 가득 담아낸 곡인 것 같습니다. 팬분들도 많이 좋아해 주실 것 같아요!"

4. What was something you worked on the most for this debut?

STEVE: "I think I focused the most on the visuals. I studied and practiced facial expressions to show
both on stage and in front of fans."

EUNHO: "I think the most important part is singing live on stage, so I practiced live singing the hardest.
I'm determined to give the best performance on each stage!"

데뷔를 준비하며 어느 부분에 가장 많이 신경을 쓰셨나요?

스티브: "저는 비주얼적인 면을 가장 신경 많이 쓴 것 같습니다. 무대 위에서 하는 표정 연습이나 팬분들이 많이 좋아해 주실 표정들을 연구했어요."

은호: "저는 무대에서 라이브를 하는 게 제일 중요하다고 생각하기 때문에! 라이브 연습을 열심히 한 것 같습니다! 좋은 무대를 보여 드려야겠다는 생각이 많이 들었어요!"

5. Many fans are excited to see the return of member Eunsang. Is there anything you, Eunsang, want to say to your dedicated fans?

EUNSANG: "First of all, I want to thank all fans who have waited for me until YOUNITE's debut. I'll
show various sides of me from now on, so please look forward to it."

특별히 많은 팬분들께서 은상님의 복귀를 기대하고 있는데요. 은상님을 기다려온 팬분들께 한마디 부탁드려요!
은상: "우선 기다려주신 팬분들께 유나이트의 데뷔까지 기다려주셔서 감사하다는 말씀드리고 싶고요,
앞으로도 다양한 은상이의 모습 보여 드릴 테니 많은 관심 부탁드리겠습니다."

6. With nine members, do you ever think of covering songs from groups like TWICE or Girls' Generation? If you could, which song would you pick?

HYUNSEUNG: "We haven't thought of covering a girl group's song, but if we get an opportunity, I want to
try covering a cool performance!"

트와이스, 소녀시대와 같은 멤버 수인 아홉명으로 데뷔하는 만큼 두 그룹의 노래를 커버해보실 마음이
있나요? 만약 커버를 한다면 어떤 곡을 해보고 싶나요?

현승: "걸그룹 커버 영상을 생각해 보진 않았지만 커버하게 되는 기회가 생기면 퍼포먼스 커버를 멋지게
해보고 싶어요!"

7. Is there another solo artist you look up to or wish you could collaborate with?

DEY: "I'd love to collaborate with my senior MINO! It's my dream to make a really cool performance
with him."

EUNHO: "I want to collaborate with the senior Baekhyun from EXO on an R&B song! Thinking about it
makes me nervous with joy already."

솔로 아티스트 중 존경하거나 함께 콜라보 해보고 싶은 분은 누구인가요?
데이: "송민호 선배님과 함께 콜라보 해보고 싶습니다! 멋짐이 가득한 무대를 함께 만들어보고 싶은 게 제
꿈입니다."

은호: "저는 엑소 백현 선배님과 R&B 노래를 같이 콜라보 해보고 싶어요! 생각만 해도 떨립니다."

8. Which member do you think best suits the debut concept?

KYUNGMUN: "I think SION suits the debut concept quite well. He is the youngest and the cutest in the group, so I think fans will really love him with this concept the most."

데뷔 컨셉과 가장 잘 어울리는 멤버는 누구라고 생각하시나요?
경문: "잘 어울리는 멤버는 시온이라고 생각합니다. 제일 나이가 어리고 저희 팀에서 귀여움을 담당하고
있기 때문에 팬들이 정말 좋아해 주실 것 같습니다."

9. Do you have any last words or messages for your fans?

SION: "Thank you to those who showed such great support and attention even before our debut. We're ready to show many more things to you, so please look forward to it."
