'Queendom 2' Episode 8: Teams Hold Events to Interact With Fans for FANtastic Queendom Battle

On May 19, Mnet broadcasted the seventh episode of "Queendom 2," which features the team competing in the FANtastic Queendom Battle, a continuation of Round 3. For this round, each of the teams will have to create a performance using songs chosen by their fans.

As this is the final round ahead of the live show, the FANtastic Queendom Battle is worth a massive 15,000 points. Each team also had to interact with fans, such as Brave Girls holding a live broadcast, Hyolyn going busking, and WJSN having a fan meeting.

During WJSN's fan meeting, the group also surprised fans when they announced that member Bona would finally join the group for Round 3, after missing the previous performances due to her filming for the tvN drama "Twenty Five, Twenty One."

Hyolyn, who was the winner in the previous round, decided the lineup for this battle, with Kep1er going first and followed by VIVIZ, WJSN, LOONA, Brave Girls, then herself.

'Queendom 2' Episode 8: VIVIZ, WJSN, and Kep1er Perform Songs Chosen by Fans

In order to decide what song they will perform, Kep1er and their fans gathered in a practice room. As Kep1er only recently debuted, they settled on a song by Girls' Generation as its members Taeyeon and Tiffany worked with Kep1er on the shows "Queendom 2" and "Girls Planet 999."

Kep1er decided to perform Girls' Generation's "The Boys," and presented an image that was more fierce and bolder than the usual concepts you would see from Kep1er.

Following their performance, Taeyeon praised the group, calling Kep1er her group's "maknae" and described the performance as overflowing with charisma.

After talking with their fans, VIVIZ decided to perform their debut song instead of one they released as GFRIEND. For this round's performance, VIVIZ decided to revamp their track "BOP BOP!" by using a cheerleader concept.

They also revealed that this would be the first time they are performing the song with a live audience.

Following their performance, SinB expressed her satisfaction with their stage, saying, "Out of all of our performances so far, I did this one most enjoyable and happily."

Following VIVIZ as the third performers is WJSN, who expressed excitement with Bona finally joining the group.

During rehearsals, with WJSN settling on performing their b-side track "Pantomime," Bona expressed how apologetic she felt to her group members for not being able to join the first few battles, saying, "As I joined during Round 3, I really wanted to become at least a bit of strength [for the group]."

As this is also her first time participating in WJSN's practices for "Queendom 2," Bona revealed she felt weird watching the first and second episodes. However, she is now excited.

"I feel a bit excited now. I feel the most thrilled when I am on stage. This is the real Bona," she said.

Meanwhile, the next episode will feature the performances by LOONA, Brave Girls, and Hyolyn.

Brave Girls is currently in danger of being eliminated from the program if they rank sixth place for the second time in a row for this round.

The ninth episode of "Queendom 2" will air on May 26 at 9:20pm KST.
