On May 27, Sandara Park uploaded a new YouTube video titled "I Love My Dubai EP.2." As the title suggests, the 14-minute video shows the continuation of the idol's trip to Dubai.
Sandara Park Reveals 2NE1 Thought of Canceling Their Coachella Reunion
Park talked about 2NE1's Coachella performance last April in most parts of the video. At one point, she shared, "There have been so many offers for 2NE1's reunion from huge shows. We really wanted to, but since we belong to different companies, it wasn't easy."
She continued that although they received a lot of offers, the 2NE1 members thought that those weren't the right moments for them to get back together.

Toward the end of the video, Dara's friend said, "When you told me you were going to LA (Los Angeles), I thought you were just going there to see CL and hang out. And suddenly you're at Coachella."
Sandara Park replied that 2NE1's Coachella reunion has been in discussion since early this year. And, during the talk, the members were thinking of calling off their performance.
"Even until two weeks before we left, 'Are we really doing it?' 'Should we cancel it?' We've talked about canceling it," she said.

Dara then explained that they thought of canceling it because they didn't have time and they had to keep it a secret. They also didn't have proper MR, and so their preparation wasn't easy.

Park went on to reveal that her friends and agency (ABYSS Company) didn't know that 2NE1 was planning to perform at Coachella. Even the members' managers weren't aware of it.

The reason why no one knew about it was because 2NE1 signed a contract that the show would be canceled if their reunion would be revealed. "We had no choice. We've worked so hard for it," Sandara Park added.
The "I AM THE BEST" singer was then excited to share with her friends what people said about 2NE1's Coachella reunion. She stated, "People commented that even though we reunited after seven years, we're still better than when we were a team. They say it's too good to be true. But it's so real. This is how it's supposed to be. Four of us together are so great."

As Dara continued to talk about 2NE1's Coachella performance, she revealed that she wasn't expecting the audience to know them.

She said, "I was surprised. It was in America, and we hadn't performed as a team for a while, so I didn't expect people to recognize us." She added that she even prepared herself for the worst outcome, but it turned out that she didn't have to in the first place.
"As we went on the stage, the crowd cheered, and they sang along to 'I AM THE BEST.' They knew who we were, and they knew our song. That felt so amazing," Park said.

Sandara Park then touched on her shoe that flew while she was performing on stage. "I had so much energy that my shoe flew in the air."
When asked how that happened, Dara explained that she was trying to be cool that time but then her shoe flew in slow motion in front of her eyes. "I thought, 'What if CL kills me for this?' Because we wanted to make it cool. I thought I could have done better," she stated.
The former 2NE1 member later revealed that CL texted her to tell her that she watched that incident many times and that it's hilarious.
"She finds it so funny that I pretended like nothing happened, [she said] 'It's so funny that it's upsetting," Sandara shared.
