7 K-Pop Artists Who Incorporated Acrobatics Into Their Choreography

Each K-Pop artist's choreography varies. Some can be fairly easy, while some are more complicated. Usually, fans get to witness their favorite K-Pop idols dancing with complete synchronisation, showing quick footwork, and other mind-boggling dance moves. But on rare occasions, some also take it up a notch by including acrobatics!

With that, check out these K-Pop artists who have incorporated acrobatics into their choreographies!

1. 2PM

Second-generation boy group 2PM is basically the pioneer for including acrobatics in choreographies. They first showed off their amazing athleticism when they made their debut with "10 Out of 10," and since then, each of the members would show off their flips and tricks on stage.

Years later, more and more groups began incorporating acrobatics into their choreographies thanks to 2PM!

2. WJSN

Among girl groups, WJSN is known to include acrobatics into some of their choreographies. These kinds of moves are usually done by member Cheng Xiao, who is more flexible and more confident in executing the difficult dance moves, such as her iconic aerials, back hand flips, and more!

3. SF9

Although they don't always include acrobatics in their choreographies, SF9 still does so from time to time. Some songs in which SF9 include acrobatics are "Jungle Game," which showcases a bunch of stunts by the members in a short amount of time and precision, and the famous "pinwheel" move for "K.O."

4. FANATICS

Girl group FANATICS definitely surprised fans when they included a rather tricky move into their choreography.

For their song "V.A.V.I Girl," the members simulated a jump rope by linking together their arms, and then member Chiayi stunned fans by doing a front flip three times in a row!

5. SPEED

One of the groups that definitely stunned, and almost gave fans a heart attack with their stunts, was SPEED!

Although the group has been disbanded, SPEED gained recognition for their highly technical, and rather dangerous acrobatics included in their choreographies. From SPEED's signature move, human jump rope, to being launched high in the air, no one does it quite like SPEED!

6. GOT7

Following in the foot steps of their 2PM seniors, GOT7 also boasts some on-stage acrobatics, especially from their members Jackson and Mark, who are known to be quite athletic.

One of GOT7's most popular moves is Mark doing a backflip, while Jackson pushes him while in the air.

7. GFRIEND

GFRIEND was particularly known for their high-level choreographies, and although they didn't exactly include acrobatics in their performances all the time, they created one of the best dance moves with their song "Me Gustas Tu."

In their dance for this song, the members performed a satisfying sequence where Yuju ducks under Umji by doing a split, while Yerin leaps over the two.
