'Queendom 2' Episode 10: WJSN Crowned Season Winner After Final Performances

'Queendom 2' Episode 10: Teams Unveil Newly Produced Songs for Season Finale

On June 2, Mnet aired the tenth and final episode of "Queendom 2." A live broadcast for the finale was held, where the teams unveiled their newly produced and never-been-heard songs for the final mission.

In the previous week, the second part of Round 3 was held, in which the six teams performed songs chosen by their fans. In that mission, Brave Girls took first place, narrowly evading being elimination.

Prior to the final mission, the rankings in the season so far were announced to the teams, with Hyolyn taking first place, followed by WJSN, Brave Girls, VIVIZ, LOONA, and Kep1er in last.

Kicking off the live performances, Hyolyn performed first with a song called "Waka Boom (My Way)." Hyolyn revealed that the song was actually made three years ago, and the rap portion of the song was taken over by Lee Youngji.

For Hyolyn's stage, she performed with a strong warrior concept.

Following Hyolyn, WJSN showcased a unique and dreamlike atmosphere with their new song "Aura," which was written and composed by the group's leader, Exy.

Regarding the song, Exy said, "We have endured the hard times well, and there are always those moments when they still exist. But that dark part is part of it."

Coming in as the third performances, rookie girl group Kep1er took the stage to perform their new song entitled "The Girls (Can't Turn Me Down)."

With only a few months of experience under their belts, Kep1er had been under the spotlight in regards to their performances. Watching Kep1er, Hyolyn praised the group, saying, "I really like Kep1er. The passion and boldness is hard to have when you just debuted, but that seems to be Kep1er's strengths."

VIVIZ performed next with the song "Red Sun!" Prior to their final performance, the group visited a restaurant where they enjoyed the fish stew they used to eat when they were still trainees.

At that time, Eunha talked about living in an underground practice room that leaked and had all sorts of bugs. Because of that, they dreamed of making their debut, winning first place, performing at a concert, at receiving an award at the awards ceremony.

"It seems like the three of us are very happy to be singers. We are so unique," Eunha said.

For the fifth performance, LOONA took to the stage and tried to showcase their uniqueness by preparing a freestyle choreography by each member. They showed their charm by performing their song called "Pose."

And finally, Brave Girls capped off the night as the final performers. Before their final performance, the members expressed their honest feelings on the results they got so far on the show.

Yuna said, "Actually, when we first came out on 'Queendom,' didn't we say we wanted to stop the reverse-run? We talked so proudly about it, but in the end, we went reverse again."

The members also expressed their frustration and being in bottom place in the first and second missions. So for the final performance, they prepared the song "Whistle," with the mindset that it could be their last performance.

'Queendom 2' Episode 10: WJSN Crowned as Final Winner of the Season

For this final mission, the winner was determined by adding the total points they have earned from the previous missions, which amounts to 40,000, and the 60,000 points up for grabs in the final performance to make a total of 100,000 for the season.

In the 60,000 points, 5,000 points is allotted for the full version performance videos, 5,000 points for the fans' choice votes, 20,000 points for the comeback single, and 30,000 points for the final live comeback stage. A live voting was held for the six teams.

For the final mission, the rankings are as follows:

1. LOONA - 59,584 points

2. WJSN - 50,220 points

3. VIVIZ - 34,626 points

4. Kep1er - 28,910 points

5. Brave Girls - 19,819 points

6. Hyolyn - 16,951 points

With all of the scores from the first to the last mission combined, WJSN comes out as the winner of "Queendom 2," followed closely by LOONA!
