aespa is the Most Watched K-Pop Girl Group on YouTube

According to YouTube Statistics derived from June of 2021, aespa's official YouTube channel garnered 268 million views in South Korea over the past year. This makes aespa the most-watched K-pop girl group on YouTube in the country.

Their most-viewed video is "Next Level," which was released on May 17, 2021. This is no surprise, as "Next Level" was massively successful in South Korea. It is aespa first top-five hit single in their home country and their second top-five entry on the Billboard World Digital Song Sales chart.

It is their second entry on the Billboard Global 200. By the end of 2021 and the start of 2022, aespa achieved several accolades with the song, such as winning Song of the Year at the 19th Korean Music Awards.

Their second most-viewed video is "Savage," which was released on October 5, 2021. After its release, "Savage" entered the top five of the Gaon Chart. It also entered the top 40 of the Billboard Global 200.

BLACKPINK is the Second Most-Watched K-Pop Girl Group on YouTube

Ranking in second place is YG Entertainment's BLACKPINK, who garnered 230 million views. Despite not releasing music as a group in nearly two years, BLACKPINK was able to secure second place for themselves!

This is most likely due to the group's solo releases. Despite not promoting as a group, all of BLACKPINK's solo releases were shared on the BLACKPINK channel. Lisa's "MONEY" was the second most-viewed BLACKPINK video, and "LALISA" ranked at number three.

BLACKPINK's most-viewed music video is not even a music video - in fact, it is the dance practice video for "How You Like That." Back in April 2022, the dance practice video made headlines after it was discovered that it had more views than the actual music video for "How You Like That."
