In another news, Chanty also opened up about how she was able to become a trainee under MLD Entertainment.

In her interview with METRO Style, the rookie idol claimed that her love for K-pop was influenced by her fellow Filipino stars Belle Mariano and Charlie Dizon, a former K-pop trainee. During a project where the three worked together, the latter stars introduced BTS and BLACKPINK to the Lapillus member.

After dreaming of becoming an idol, Chanty's Argentinian father, who has a Korean friend, introduced Chanty to MLD Entertainment. She then trained under the agency for about nine months before her official debut with Lapillus.
