One of the unique things about K-pop is that its songs contain both Korean and English lyrics! Unfortunately, while some fit in well with the lyrics, some English lyrics are a bit more questionable, although it works well with the song. But for English speakers, there are just some that have them scratching their heads!

With that, here are English lyrics from K-pop songs are that questionable that fans are wondering if they heard it right!

1. Super Junior's 'Mamacita' - 'Just close your lips, shut your tongue'

For Super Junior's song "Mamacita," fans can't help but rack their brain at the meaning behind Shindong's line: "Just close your lips, shut your tongue." Although Shindong sang the part with great confidence and seriousness, many couldn't help but poke fun at the "wise" lyrics.

2. BTS RM's 'Throw It' - 'Got an automatic d*ck'

With an IQ of 148 and fluency in English, RM has created numerous hit songs that are not only meaningful, but make ARMYs (BTS fandom) think deeper about the meaning behind them.

But when the BTS member switches to his "rapper" mode, he can drop some sick beats and lyrics. However, for his solo track "Throw It" in 2015, he threw ARMYs in for a loop when he said he "got an automatic d*ck" in the lyrics!

3. Hello Venus' 'Mysterious' - 'He's so dreamy, hot and creamy'

Hello Venus has a sexier concept when it comes to their songs, so maybe that's why the lyrics "He's so dreamy, hot and creamy" was put in "Mysterious."

Despite the rather questionable lyrics, Hello Venus made it work with Yooyoung's sensual voice. Not to mention it rhymes!

4. JYJ's 'Mission' - Yoochun's entire verse

In JYJ's song "Mission," Yoochun rapped an entire verse that doesn't make any sense at all. He rapped the lyrics:

"Probably your money is unpublic
Try to save my life like a puppy and cream
Another hot movie character
Bumblebee treat me like a slave and I pray
Is it Halloween
Trick or treats oh please
Don't even try to pull my head own your way
Brand new person a man
So f**k off no more talk."

5. aespa's 'Dreams Come True' - 'You make it feel me good, do you wanna upside down'

aespa released their own rendition of S.E.S' "Dreams Come True."

However, the song included some head-scratching lyrics. The members sing the line in the middle of the song: "You make it feel me good, do you wanna upside down."

Because of how grammatically incorrect the lyrics are, fans can't help but wonder who approves of such lines!

6. NCT 127's 'Regular' - 'I be walkin' with the cheese, that's the queso'

While NCT 127's song "Regular" is definitely addicting, the song's writers definitely got a little too creative with the lyrics. In the song, the members sing the line: "I be walkin' with the cheese, that's the queso." Now, why are they walking with cheese? Isn't "queso" melted cheese? So many questions for the writers. But thankfully, the line is catchy!

7. SECHSKIES' 'Chivalry' - 'The f*cking d*ck is in your p*ssy'

And of course, how could we ever forget the legendary intro of SECHSKIES' "Chivalry." Years after the first-generation boy group performed the song in front of a live audience for MBC's "Top Music" back in 1998, MBC shared a video of the performance online.

And needless to say, English-speaking fans were shook when they heard the now-iconic lyrics: "Listen to my word, the f*cking d*ck is in your p*ssy."

8. EXO's 'Love Me Right' - 'Shawty I'mma party 'til the sundown'

Though "Love Me Right" is a beloved song by EXO-Ls, there is one lyric that always has listeners shaking their heads. During his rap, Sehun proclaims, "Shawty I'mma party 'til the sundown!"

This means he will cease his partying once nighttime hits - which is the time the party usually suns.

Usually, people want to party till the sun rises!

9. Girl's Day's 'Twinkle Twinkle'- 'Hey boy, you make me feel like weak girl!'

"Twinkle Twinkle" is one of Girl's Day's biggest songs in South Korea. The song talks about a man stealing their hearts and leaves them not knowing what to do with themselves.

It's a normal song topic; however, the lyrics, "Hey boy, you make me feel like a weak girl," have fans shaking their heads.

10. TXVQ's 'Purple Line' - 'I really wanna touch myself'

This TVXQ song was released originally in Japanese and then in Korean.

The title "Purple Line" refers to the thin rays of light on the horizon when the sun sets, and the song talks about being the best and surpassing themselves.

With such a topic, you might be surprised that the members loudly proclaim, "I really wanna touch myself." Besides that one line, the song has nothing to do with touching!

11. KARA's 'Pretty Girl' - 'If you wanna pretty, every wanna pretty!' 

KARA released "Pretty Girl" in 2008. Though it initially did not hit big, the song saw a reverse run on the charts in 2010. Now, the song is well-loved among K-pop fans and is even performed by newer generations of idols.

However, one lyric that stands out is in the chorus: "If you wanna pretty, every wanna pretty!"

The lyrics do not make sense, as they use the term "pretty" as a very rather than as an adjective.

12. BEAST's 'Beautiful' - 'Make a love baby, just make a love. Feeling in my heart so nice'

"Beautiful" was released in 2010, and was successful in South Korea. It even peaked at number six on the Gaon Chart. Despite that, English-speaking K-pop fans cannot stand the lyric "Make a love baby, just make a love. Feeling in my heart so nice."

The lyrics just do not make sense, and leaves listeners feeling confused.
