In KBS2's entertainment show "Music Bank," which aired on the afternoon of July 1, the program was graced by an incredible artist lineup. This includes Sunmi, fromis_9, HUTA, DRIPPIN, bugAboo, CLASS:y, iCHILLIN, Lapillus and more.

Following performances, Nayeon's "POP!" and Kepler's "UP!" faced off as first-place candidates, gaining massive attention from K-pop enthusiasts.

In particular, Nayeon, the first member of TWICE to turn solo, recently released her first solo album in seven years. The album, "IM NAYEON," is comprised of a title track, "POP!", which contains a fascinating mash that will explode the other person's heart that has swelled like a bubble.

Despite the close fight for first place, Kep1er won the trophy for "Music Bank."

During the girl group's speech, Kep1er said:

"We are so grateful and love our fans (Kep1ians). We are also thankful to the company staff. The members also worked really hard."

While Kep1er's fans are delighted by the first-place win, it's not long before some internet users expressed their sour reactions to it.

On an online community, netizens and music fans once again criticized the point system of "Music Bank."

In particular, K-Netz questioned the points given to Nayeon. Although she was ahead of Kep1er in terms of digital (341-17) and physical points (1865-1220) as well as received decent points for broadcast points (4500-6000), fans wonder why the soloist only received 1 point for SNS.

"What happened with Nayeon's SNS point?"

"Why does Nayeon only have 1 point?"

Some ONCEs (TWICE fandom) and supporters of the idol complained that the broadcast and SNS points were unreasonable since both artists appeared almost at the same time. On top of that, Nayeon is also doing well regarding social media's influence, particularly on YouTube.

Although there's no bad blood intended for Kep1er, internet users blame the show for its allegedly unfair point system.

This is not the first time "Music Bank" was accused of being a "Broadcast Point Bank." In May, LE SSERAFIM's win became controversial after winning against Lim Young Woong, a famous Korean trot singer. During the face-off, the rookie claimed the first-place trophy after the latter gained 0 points for broadcast.
