Lee Ga Eun in 2012: Debut With After School
In 2012, Lee Ga Eun (Kaeun) was introduced as the new member of the girl group After School. The team was originally launched in 2009 by Pledis Entertainment with an admission and graduation concept.
She was initially endorsed as a new group member in April through After School's promotion tour in Japan, where she joined the group's performance for "Let's Do It" and "Bang - Jap. Ver."
On June 20, Kaeun made her official debut with the group through its fifth single album, "Flashback."

In 2018, Kaeun was revealed to join Mnet's survival show, "Produce 48," the program where IZ*ONE was formed. During her appearance in the show, the female idol stated that it was her last chance as an idol.
Thanks to her dedication, passion, and unrivaled skills, she never left the top 12 and even ranked first place multiple times.
Shockingly, Kaeun ended the show in 14th place, failing to debut. Later, it was revealed that she was meant to rank fifth but lost the competition due to voting manipulation.
Lee Ga Eun in 2019: Departure from Pledis, After School, 'Remember You'
While there's high anticipation about whether After School will reunite due to Kaeun's popularity, she announced her departure from Pledis Entertainment in July 2019, ultimately graduating from After School.
As a gift to fans, Kaeun released her first digital single, "Remember You," marking her departure from the company.
Where is Lee Ga Eun in 2022? Idol Pursues Career as Actress
That same year, she left Pledis. Kaeun, who now uses the name Lee Ga Eun signed with High Entertainment as her new nest.
Under the agency, she will promote as a singer, model, and actress. In 2020, she made her debut on the big screen through the omnibus movie "Motelier."
In the following year, Ga Eun made her return to the small screen with Naver TV Cast's original drama, "Nara's Marvelous Days." Then, she cemented her presence in the acting scene with her special appearance in the drama "High Class."
In 2022, Ga Eun draws anticipation as she heralds a new drama, "The Empire of Law," to be released in August.
Aside from being an actress, the female idol works as a model and YouTuber. She opened her channel "Lee Ga Eun" in 2019, and to date, the idol occasionally posts content such as makeup tutorials, ASMR videos, daily life vlogs, etc.
Although there is curiosity about whether she will return to the music scene, Ga Eun remains silent about her plans as an idol.
