August 2022 K-pop Comebacks, Debuts: NewJeans, Girls' Generation, More!
The month of July is finally coming to an end, and it is time to welcome the start of the eighth month of the year, August! This means that K-pop enthusiasts are in for a treat as more comebacks and debuts from our favorite idols are set to make the month extra exciting. With that being said, here are some of the confirmed K-pop groups and solo artists who are set to release new music this August 2022.

August 1:
NewJeans
NewJeans
HYBE and ADOR's new girl group, NewJeans, will officially make their debut on August 1 with their first mini album "New Jeans." On this day, they will also release their song "Cookie." The physical album release will be on August 8.
U-KISS Soohyun
U-Kiss member Soohyun will be releasing his first mini album "Count On Me" on this day as well.
August 3:
Choi Yena
Choi Yena
Choi Yena is set to release her second mini album entitled "Smartphone," which will feature a title track of the same name, on August 3.
August 5:
benny blanco x BTS x Snoop Dogg
BTS, benny blanco, and Snoop Dogg
On August 5, BTS, benny blanco, and Snoop Dogg's highly-anticipated collaboration song called "Bad Decisions" will be released.
Girls' Generation

Girls' Generation will finally be making their highly-awaited comeback as a whole group on August 5, with their seventh studio album "Forever 1." This marks the group's first comeback in five years.

On August 8, Golden Child will return with their sixth mini album "Aura."
August 9:
TRI.BE
Girl group TRI.BE will be releasing their new digital single, "LEVIOSA," on August 9.
PENTAGON Kino
On the same day, PENTAGON member Kino will drop a special single called "POSE."
August 16:
THE BOYZ
On August 16, IST Entertainment's boy group THE BOYZ release their seventh mini album "Be Aware."
August 22:
IVE
IVE
Top rookie girl group IVE is slated to return with a new hit song through their third single album "After Like" on August 22.
CIX
CIX will also release their fifth mini album "'OK' Episode 1: OK Not" on this day.
August 26:
TWICE
TWICE
Following Nayeon's solo debut, TWICE will be making a comeback as a whole group for their eleventh mini album "Between 1&2," featuring the lead single "Talk That Talk" on August 26
Mark Tuan
GOT7 member Mark Tuan will be making his solo comeback with his first album "the other side."
