Hyoyeon's Outfit at Girls' Generation's Comeback Press Conference Garners Attention
On August 5, Girls' Generation held a press conference at the Intercontinental Hotel in Teheran-ro, Gangnam-gu, Seoul to commemorate the release of their seventh full-length album "Forever1."
When the members arrived, the eight members turned heads with their visuals and 'fits.
Taeyeon, Yuri and Sunny donned in black dresses, while Tiffany, Yoona and Sooyoung made jaws drop with their white ensembles.
Yuri balanced the color scheme with her bellow-the-knee gray dress. Coincidentally, she coordinated her attire with SHINee Minho's suit, who is the MC of the press conference.
All the members appeared dressed up in black or white, except Hyoyeon who chose hot pink coordinates.
Of course, SHINee Minho didn't let the opportunity to tease his older sister and friend Hyoyeon. Thus, while introducing the song, the MC pointed this out, drawing laughter from the members.
In the end, Hyoyeon confessed she felt "awkward." She said:
"I didn't know the concept properly."
Sooyoung, sitting next to her, also teased her, saying:
"I told her it was black and white."
The scene then became a sea of laughter when the members raised suspicions that Hyoyeon did not properly check their group chat messages.
Girls Generation's True Feelings About Comeback in 5 Years
As the press conference went on, the members also expressed their feelings about their comeback in about five years. The date of their return became even more special as they commemorate their 15th debut anniversary on this day.
Sunny said:
"Today is our 15th debut anniversary, and I tried to make it an event that everyone can celebrate, so please enjoy it with a good heart."
Tiffany continued:
"I think it's Girls' Generation season from early August, and I'm happy to greet you with a regular album on the 15th anniversary. We worked hard on it."
Yuri also expressed her determination, saying:
"As we gathered as a whole group for the first time in a long time, we will make August a month for Girls' Generation."
Meanwhile, the group's full-length album "Forever 1" contains the title song with the same name. It will be a pop dance song with dynamic development and energetic melodies, and Girls' Generation's unique cool singing gives an exciting atmosphere as if you were at the festival site.
The lyrics added meaning to the song as the group expresses eternal love for precious people regardless of the time and place.
The song "Forever 1" will be released at 6 p.m. KST on August 5, while the album will be released on August 8.
