Following her departure from WM Entertainment and OH MY GIRL, Jiho has been reported to have officially signed with a new agency, P& Studio, to pursue her acting career. She will start promoting under her real name Gong Jiho. Keep on reading for all the details

She signed an exclusive contract with entertainment agency P& Studio. Fans are looking forward to her new journey ad new activities as an actress.

Jiho Leaves OH MY GIRL, WM Entertainment

In May this year, WM Entertainment announced would be leaving the agency and her group OH MY GIRL. The lengthy statement reads:

"Hello. This is WM Entertainment.

First of all, we express our deep gratitude to the fans and many other people for always supporting and loving Oh My Girl.

The agency has renewed exclusive contracts with the six members of Oh My Girl, Hyojung, Mimi, YooA, Seunghee, Yoo Bin (formerly known as Binnie), and Arin. With deep trust and confidence in each other built over working together for seven years, we plan to not hold back on our full support so that the six members can promote activity in diverse fields.

Furthermore, we will respect Jiho's decision to head toward her new dream after the end of long in-depth conversations with the members of course as well as the agency, and we inform you that her exclusive contract with us has ended.

We express our gratitude to Jiho who has been with us for a long period of seven years, and we will sincerely support Jiho in her future activities.

The six members will continue to promote together as Oh My Girl. Along with a new start, they will continue to impress further, so please continue to send them lots of encouragement and support."

Jiho also released a statement through a handwritten letter about her departure.

Former OMG Jiho Signs With New Agency

"I'm writing this letter as there's news I have to share with Miracle. I spoke numerous times with our agency about the future and we concluded that moving forward, we would support each other's paths. In the future, I will be supporting Oh My Girl's promotions as a member of Miracle and not as a member of Oh My Girl."

Jiho's Relationship With Remaining OH MY Girl Members

Following Jiho's departure, fans have noted that she and the current OH MY GIRL members are not interacting on SNS.

However, that changed on August 8. Four out of six members liked one of her Instagram posts, and one even commented on it.

Fans are waiting for Seunghee and Yubin (formerly known as Binnie) to also like or comment on Jiho's post. MIRACLEs, OH MY GIRL's fans, were delighted to see them showing their close friendship. 

On the other hand, it was recently announced that the girl group OH MY GIRL has also joined Weverse.
