It has officially been a year since CUBE Entertainment announced that Soojin would be leaving (G)I-DLE. Her departure resulted from a school bullying controversy in which her past batchmates accused her of school violence.

Though she is no longer part of the group, long-time Neverland ((G)I-DLE fans) will never forget the impact Soojin has left on their lives.

On August 14, the first-year anniversary of Soojin's departure from the girl group, Neverlands trended the hashtag #Soojin_NeverlandLovesYou. Many fans used the hashtag to send messages to Soojin, expressing their love for her and the group.

Since her departure, there have been little to no updates on Soojin's life. However, on August 10, a friend of Soojin gave a small but sweet update on the former idol's life.

On August 10, Soojin's friend went live on Instagram. She simply told fans that Soojin was doing well. After giving that short update, her friend abruptly ended the live stream.

Though the update was short, it was enough for fans, as they are now aware that Soojin's life is going well. To celebrate, Neverlands shared the clip on social media platforms. After being spread, however, the friend requested fans who shared the video to delete the clip. Fans quickly complied with her request. Therefore, out of respect for Soojin's friend's wishes, we will not include a clip of the live stream.

Beginning in South Korea, the United States, Chile, Mexico, Indonesia, the Philippines, Japan, and Singapore, (G)-IDLE launched their first global tour, "JUST ME ()I-DLE." After the pre-sale period opened, all seats for the performance at Olympic Hall in Olympic Park, Seoul, on June 18 and 19 were sold out.

On June 17, Cube announced a second concert schedule in Seoul, which also sold out in three minutes. On June 29, two further international stops-to Bangkok and Kuala Lumpur were added. Additionally, it was announced that (G)I-DLE would do their concert as a group in Singapore on October 1, 2022.
