Just one hour after it was uploaded, BLACKPINK's "Pink Venom" dance practice gained 2.8 million views, and four hours later, the number of views hit 6.5 million.

In addition, it has become the fastest video by a female artist to hit one million likes on YouTube this 2022, doing so in only one hour and 11 minutes. It notably beat their own record of one hour and 41 minutes set by the "Pink Venom" MV.

On Aug. 26, YG Entertainment announced through press releases that BLACKPINK's "Pink Venom" dance practice video surpassed 20 million views within 24 hours of it being uploaded to YouTube.
Considering that it is only a dance video, not a music video, the number of views is impressively remarkable. In fact, it surpassed the group's own "How You Like That," which previously set the record for the biggest 24-hour view count of any K-pop dance practice video by garnering 18.8 million views after it came out on July 5, 2020.

BLACKPINK to Open 'Pink Venom' Concept Pop-Up Store
In other news, YG Entertainment announced on the 25th that they will open a BLACKPINK "Pink Venom" concept pop-up store at The Hyundai Seoul "Sounds Forest" in Yeouido. This makes the quartet the very first K-pop girl group to hold such a massive pop-up event at the said location.
