On September 6, Red Velvet Joy graced the SBS building in Mokdong Yangcheon-gu Seoul as she had a photo op with the media and fans. Along with her were actors Baek Sung Chul and Choo Young Woo, who are her co-stars in the Kakao TV original, "Once Upon a Small Town."
They were heading for their radio and live broadcast appearance on SBS FM's "Choi Hwajung's Powertime Radio" to promote their drama.
There photos from the event were soon released, and as soon as these circulated online, Joy, Sung Chul and Young Woo immediately gained attention for their chemistry. Fans were also impressed by their height and visuals.
But on top of their looks, Joy captured fans's attention for making her co-stars form a "heart" pose while she smiled brightly at the center, seemingly proud of what she did.

It's a romance-comedy drama wherein Ahn Ja Young (Joy), a local policeman, and Han Ji Yul (Choo Young Woo), a veterinarian from Seoul, met in Huidong rural village and later on develop a romantic relationship.
The program also features the daily life in a rural area among the residents of the small village.
In regards to what she felt about accepting the role, Joy revealed her difficulties, saying:
"Actually, I'm introverted and shy. There are many things that I tried hard to become an extrovert. My MBTI is also 'INFP'."
