These summer days are hot enough without KARD bringing their effortless summer vibes to the stage of Brooklyn’s iconic Kings Theatre - and yet, the four-membered coed group from DSP Media always turns up the heat to the next level! The second stop of KARD’s 2022 WILD KARD North American Tour took place in New York, and we’re so excited to detail all of our favorite moments. With KARD being themed for a deck of cards (and their fandom, too, is celebrated as being the group’s Hidden Kard!), let’s dive into each memory as represented by KARD’s cards!

1. The Ace of Clubs (or, the Pre-Debut Hits That Still Hit!)

The first (or ace!) moment of the show felt like KARD took us straight to the club from the Kings Theatre! The show kicked off with some of KARD’s most beloved hits: their predebut singles Oh NaNa and Don’t Recall. Somin and Jiwoo’s twerking during “Oh NaNa” set the crowd alight, with the drop and dance break turning the venue into a party right off of the bat!

The audience interrupted into even louder cheers for the iconic dance-filled chorus of “Don’t Recall,” with the synchronized body waves of the four members sending similar waves of excitement out into the crowd. We’re definitely recalling how incredible the start of the show was - and we truly will never be able to forget the impact of KARD’s smouldering gaze to end the song, the most perfect beginning.

2.The Four of Hearts (or, a Heartfelt Introduction!)

Four hearts on stage receiving hundreds of hearts from their audience - KARD’s introduction was bursting with love! BM kept the energy of their songs going with a resounding, “KARD IS IN THE BUILDING!” In comparison, Somin’s self-introduction sent the crowd into giggles with her cuteness. Jiwoo greeted fans with a mix of cute (“Hi, my lovers!”) and cool, (a calm “Hey, my name is Jiwoo!”). And J.Seph, the legend himself, capped off the group with a cool self-introduction!

KARD’s last U.S. tour took place in 2019 before the onset of the pandemic, and the distance between KARD and their Hidden Kard made the heart grow fonder, and their audience only grow larger! The crowd was full of Hidden Kards at their first-ever KARD concert (with many screams in response to BM asking if there were any first-timers) and each was eager to turn the Kings Theatre into a full out party.

 3. The Three of Clubs (for Iconic Summer Vibes!)

“Hola Hola” took us deeper into the summer heat with a sunset on stage, the perfect setting for KARD’s concert! The crowd went wild for the endless charisma of Jisoo’s rap in particular.

In between the powerful and hard-hitting energy of their songs, the four were still so tender. Somin’s ment shared the love she had for their Hidden KARD and the joy of seeing them again!

"Give yourself a round of applause for making it to 2022. It only gets better from here, yeah?” BM shared - and the same went for KARD’s own show. It only got better with each moment!

4. The Four of Spades (with Vibes and Love all in Spades!)

The next set of songs took KARD into a more groovy vibe with “Moonlight” and “Dinelo,” with the group all clapping their hands and waving along to the smooth flows of J.Seph’s rap.

The sensual body waves of “Dinelo”’s choreography quickly seduced the audience with funky smooth synths and the fun present in each KARD member’s face - we’ll never get the sight of BM’s smile off of our minds!

5. The Five of Hearts - more love with and to their fans!

One moment we’ll never forget came from BM handing his microphone to a fan, telling him to “say it one more time for the people in the back.” The fan, with their whole chest, exclaimed for the entire theater to hear: “You’re fine as F%&K!” (So true.)

Truth aside, BM then asked if anyone was there with their parents - and who brought who! One parent lifted up their child and the entire group fawned over the sight of an 11-year-old Hidden KARD. Loving KARD is truly intergenerational, and the look of Somin’s hand over her heart truly warmed ours!

KARD brings people of all ages, all sexes, all ethnicities together under one heart, and it’s something that BM shouted enthusiastically before diving into the next song."We're inclusive out here, let's go!"

 6. The Six of Clubs (in which we get Dumb Litty)

Enthusiasm is definitely the perfect word for the next set of songs that, once again, took us straight to the back of KARD’s club! “Bomb Bomb” is KARD’s iconic party anthem, and the sheer fun the idols had on stage as they danced and rapped took the Kings Theater by storm.

The entire crowd got ‘dumb litty,’ aptly, to “Dumb Litty.” No further words are needed.

 7. The King of Diamonds (or, BM’s new stage name)

There’s no better card to describe how BM takes the stage: shining, bright, making the whole venue dance to his tune and beat. The king performed two solo stages decked out in a pastel jacket, white pants, and a glitzy pair of sunglasses (once again, he truly was shining so bright!)

“Strangers” brought summer back to the stage with its popping dance beat, and “Bad Intentions” was BM flirting with the crowd with his unparalleled dancing skills.

One honorable moment goes out to BM’s unending support for the Big Tiddy Gang, the meme centered around a love for big man-titties that has since risen into a movement. The man himself picked up a sign from the crowd that said “Big Tiddy Gang Survivor,” a pink ode to a survivor of breast cancer.

In a speech worthy of presidential candidacy, BM thanked his Hidden KARDs for the support: “I have so much love and pride for this, the biggest movement in K-pop! The movement is nothing without the people, and K-pop fans, KARD fans, are so about positivity.”

The king of diamonds, king of the stage, and the future president running on the campaign of loving his fans and big man-tiddies? Who knows what the future will hold for BM? We just know that Hidden KARDs will be there to support it.

 8. The Queen of Hearts

The queens of KARD (...and J.Seph!) took the stage for the next two unit performances! Jiwoo’s solo performance of “Medicine” had the entire Kings Theater in a trance: an insane stage of her sensual moves, soulful deep vocals, and stage presence, all imbued with her tender love for her fans.

J.Seph and Somin’s duo performance for a cover of Camila Cabello’s “Bam Bam” turned the stage into a beachfront bonfire! With the way they danced and effortlessly flirted with the crowd, the bonfire was, of course, how hot the two idols were.

 9. The Jack of Hearts

Ever the thoughtful king, BM asked everyone to take a seat and calmly vibe along to the next songs for a break - a break down, specifically! “Break Down” was filled with Jiwoo’s soulful vocals and Somin’s sensual falsettos, creating an ethereal experience for all of their Hidden KARDs.

Even with fans sitting down, the group kept the energy levels high with “Whip!” - the stage was rife with smiles, interactions between group members, and little dances. Hearts, all around!

 10. The Ten of Spades

KARD made sure to bring their Hidden KARD’s energy up to 10 by introducing a contest across all of their tour stops, trying to find out which city could get the loudest. As the second stop, their only opponent (so far) was the fans of Washington D.C. - they couldn’t be hard to beat, right?

At BM’s countdown, the venue erupted into screams… that measured only 119 decibels for the first try, and then only 116 for the second (neither of which beat Washington D.C.’s level.) After the venue’s third try, Brooklyn finally beat D.C. with 124.2 decibels!

“You can’t measure love with decibels,” added BM - which is true! Hidden KARDs shared their love for their favorite idols in spades with finger hearts and their eager chants to the following song: “Go babygirl, go babygirl, go!”

 11. The Ace of Hearts

KARD and Hidden KARD together as one is always an unbeatable pairing - and it’s J.Seph who shared his heart with the crowd with that same sentiment. “Who truly makes the best shows?” asked J.seph during his ending ment. “It’s all of us together that makes the best shows. Thank you for gifting us such a wonderful moment.”

(Cue the most iconic energy shift as these heartfelt words gave way to the drumming tropical beats of “Ring the Alarm” to close out the show!)

 12. Joker (Our Favorite K-Pop Prank!)

Our favorite prank as K-pop stans never ceases to be the encore fake-out: thinking that your favorite idols have left for good, until they return to stage to send even more love out to their audience. KARD took this to the next level with a quirky, playful slideshow, prompting Hidden KARD to scream and chant for their encore. “You thought it was over? You thought wrong. Let’s see how much you really want it.” Spoiler alert: Brooklyn’s audience for the night really wanted it!

KARD re-entered the stage to “Good Love,” dressed head-to-toe in tour merch and armed with cameras to film all of their cute interactions with fans! BM even hopped on top of a speaker to dance along. With “Ride on the Wind” and a reprise of “Ring the Alarm,” KARD closed off their long-awaited New York tour stop with an endless amount of good love for their Hidden KARD - and we were so blessed to receive it!
