Recently on September 23, TWICE member Nayeon sat down for an interview with ELLE Korea on the magazine's official Youtube channel. During her interview, Nayeon talked about numerous things, such as the snacks and food she likes to eat these days, stories about her fellow TWICE members, and more.
In particular, Nayeon also talked about her viral meme with member Momo, which was a time-lapse video of the two members.

This particular time-lapse video became viral among the K-pop community, especially among TWICE fans ONCEs, as it showed the hilarious dynamics between Nayeon and Momo. Here, Momo can be seen sitting still for a long time, while Nayeon kept moving about.
When Elle Korea asked Nayeon for the story behind the hilarious meme, Nayeon passionately revealed that she had wanted to clarify the viral meme for a long time.

According to Nayeon, while Momo does tend to sit very still, with Nayeon being more energetic and talkative, the video actually doesn't represent their everyday dynamics. In fact, she reveals that they had exaggerated it on purpose!
Nayeon then reveals that it was a deliberate set-up by the two idols. "If you look here, Momo looks at one place. I purposely used my arms more, I grabbed this and that. I was acting," Nayeon said.

She adds that a lot of people didn't know that they were just acting, and began thinking that Nayeon was really that energetic. However, she is a lot more toned down in real life.

In addition, Nayeon also briefly talked about her relationship with the Japanese member. Although their meme was exaggerated, they do have a similar dynamic in real life. With their years of sharing a dorm together since their debut, naturally, they spend the most time together.
Nayeon and Momo would eat and do a lot of things together. But surprisingly, they "don't have much interest in each other," according to Nayeon.
