HyunA Doesn't Wear Makeup on Dates for This Interesting Reason
Recently on September 30, Lee Young Ji's popular talk show My Alcohol Diary, which is also known as No Prepare, shared a compilation of unreleased clips involved the guests from their previous episodes.
In particular, an unreleased clip from when HyunA made a guest appearance back on August 19 was shared. During her appearance at the time, HyunA and Lee Young Ji had a fun time as they casually chat about numerous topics on the show.
At the time, the two also talked about the pros and cons of wearing makeup, where HyunA revealed that she actually doesn't wear makeup when she goes on first dates prior to dating her now-fiancé Dawn - and she has an interesting reason as to why!

At first, HyunA asked Lee Young Ji behind the reason for her fashion choices on the show, as the rapper normally dresses quite eccentrically. To this, Lee Young Ji that she was trying to match the aesthetic from HyunA and Dawn's song "Ping Pong."
She then asks about her outfits even when a male guest comes, to which Lee Young Ji explains, "I don't want to use my beauty to disturb them from making a proper decision, so I meet them without [wearing] makeup."

Hearing this, HyunA immediately agrees and shares the same feelings with going makeup-free, especially when going on dates.
She said, "When I date a person, I always... before dating Dawn... On the first date, I always go without [wearing] makeup," adding that even the days after the date, she would refuse to wear makeup.

She then explains her reasoning behind this, saying that her not wearing any makeup would lower her date's expectations, and would eventually find her more stunning for when she does wear makeup.

"Because after I lower his expectation and show my beauty, I'll look even more beautiful to him!" HyunA said.
It seems that the reasoning behind HyunA going makeup-free on dates is a smart idea, as it also lets you know if the other person is genuinely interested in you.

Meanwhile, HyunA announced her departure from P NATION, along with Dawn, back on August 29 after deciding not to renew contracts with the company.
Prior to parting ways with P NATION, HyunA released her mini album "Nabillera" and its lead single of the same name on July 20 of this year.
