Among idol singers, these K-pop vocalists have the most powerful live vocals! In the rankings released by Forbes Korea, these 19 artists including J-Hope, Minyoung and more dominated!
BTS J-Hope Crowned As K-pop Idol With the Most Powerful Voice
On October 6, Forbes Korea released the results of its recent survey held under the theme, "God-given voice. Who has the most powerful voice?"
The poll was opened for voting from September 2 to 16, which aims to determine the idols with the best natural powerful vocals honed with hard work.
In the rankings, BTS J-Hope topped the list with 36,752 votes, or 39.38 percent of 93,319 votes, to honor his victory.
Although the BTS member is initially known as the main dancer of the group and rapper, J-Hope flaunted his "all-rounder" aspect by proving that he can also sing beautifully.
When the idol sing, it is usually light, yet the warm and various emotions of the song will always capture the listener's ears.
While J-Hope usually shows his hip side when rapping, the male idol actually possesses a soothing voice, where he got the power to move fans' hearts.
BTS J-Hope is indeed a "Golden Hyung!"
19 K-pop Idols With Most Powerful Voice: Brave Girls Minyoung, ATEEZ Jongho, More!
On the other hand, Brave Girls' Minyoung finished second with 38,888 votes, or 33.10% of the total votes, just 6 percent behind J-Hope.
Prior to fame, Minyoung got one of the most "underrated vocals." Fortunately, after the reverse-drive success of Brave Girls, she got more opportunities to showcase her powerful vocals through new songs and the competition show, "Queendom 2."
As always, Minyoung never disappoints! With her vocal prowess, she can hit high notes as if it's nothing! Guess her hobby is eating their CDs because of how stable and good her live vocals are!
In third place comes ATEEZ Jongho. Despite being a fourth-gen idol, the male idol proves he can beat a lot of idol singers from the second and third-gen with his strong yet stable vocals.
One of his advantages is that he got THIS amazing feature greater than any other vocal technique— which is singing from the heart!
MAMAMOO Solar then ranked fourth, and there's no doubt that she belongs to this list. Among singers, Solar is known for singing from her chest which creates a very strong sound.
Even when she sings high notes, she usually doesn't use a head tone but belting (chest voice), the sound from her chest, a technique that is not easy to achieve.
