Wonho's 'Don't Regret' Ranks High on iTunes Charts + 'Bittersweet' 1st Day Album Sales

Wonho's "Don't Regret" is receiving great love from the fans around the world, as it is ranking high on iTunes charts in different regions. Wonho's album sales figure with "Bittersweet" is also impressive despite his new release being only a single album.

Wonho's 'Don't Regret' Ranks High on iTunes Charts + 'Bittersweet' 1st Day Album Sales

On Oct. 14 at 1 p.m. KST, Wonho came back with his new single album "Bittersweet" and a music video for his latest title song "Don't Regret."

Written and composed by Wonho, "Don't Regret" is a powerful and emotional song with a trendy, funk sound and energetic vocals. It depicts the singer's desire to have no regrets as he looks back on the beautiful past that led to the present time.

Immediately after its release, Wonho's "Don't Regret" shot to the top of iTunes charts in different regions. At approximately 2:50 a.m. KST on Oct. 15, the song had entered the top 15 of at least 10 countries, including Bolivia and Panama where it successfully reached No. 1.

"Don't Regret" also landed in the top 90 in 10 other regions, including the Philippines, Mexico, India, Azerbaijan, Austria, Turkey, Thailand, Netherlands, Brazil, and Hong Kong. It even entered at No. 165 on the iTunes Song chart in the United States and went on to debut at No. 33 on the U.S. Pop Songs iTunes chart.

Not only that but Wonho's new release also made it to both the Worldwide iTunes Song chart and European iTunes Song chart, where it debuted at No. 38 and No. 158 respectively.

Now, concerning Wonho's album sales with "Bittersweet" on the first day of its release, a total of 18,196 copies were sold on the Hanteo Chart. Although those numbers didn't break the soloist's personal record for highest first-day sales (currently held by "Love Synonym #1: Right for Me" with 49,333 copies), this figure is notably high for a single album.

In fact, "Bittersweet" surpassed the first-day sales of the idol's third mini-album "FACADE," which only sold 16,438 copies in June this year, and became the singer's third best-selling album on the first day of sales (following "Love Synonym #1: Right for Me" and "Love Synonym #2: Right for Us").

Wonho Performs "Don't Regret" on "Music Bank" for Comeback Stage + Reactions

In related news, on the same day as the release of Wonho's "Bittersweet," the male idol performed "Don't Regret" for the first time on KBS's "Music Bank."

Unlike his previous comeback stages where he danced, the singer only showcased his vocals this time- and fans are loving it.
