On the Oct. 19 episode of Kang Ho Dong's talk show on Naver NOW, LE SSERAFIM Sakura appeared as the 20th guest and talked about various topics with the host.

One of the topics that was brought up was the fact that she has been the target of malicious comments since her debut as an IZ*ONE member. The "ANTIFRAGILE" singer said that those malicious comments led her to develop fear of the recording studio.

She added that many of the comments were criticizing her singing, and so she decided to put more effort into enhancing her skills.

But eventually, LE SSERAFIM Sakura realized that there will always be people who hate her for no reason. So instead of paying attention to them, she developed a healthier mindset to deal with those malicious comments.

She explained, "Before, it was really hard for me to look at malicious comments. Now, I don't pay much attention because I realized people always see what they want to, so now I just think 'whatevs'."

As Miyawaki Sakura has become more mature than before, her mindset has also gotten stronger. Thanks to this, she now has the ability to help her fellow members who are also receiving malicious comments, giving them advice on how to handle them.

In a separate interview, the "FEARLESS" singer shared, "I thought that they (the members) would face the similar hardship I faced when I first debuted. So, I want to share with them how I handled the situation at those times. People say a lot of different things when you get attention."

She confessed that it was initially hard for her to see people say things about her when they didn't even see her in person. But she soon realized that it's 2:6:2- 20% of the people like her no matter what she does, 60% of people will evaluate her by looking at her results, and 20% of people will hate her no matter what she does.

After this realization, LE SSERAFIM Sakura paid more attention to the 60% of people who assess her than the 20% of people who hate her, as she thinks that she would become better.

In another interview, the female K-pop idol shared that she now understands that her career path involves different opinions of people, explaining, "Of course, if it's possible, I don't want to hear bad things [about me]. However, this is a business of selling popularity so it can't be helped."

She continued, "I believe that if I give good results, then people will acknowledge it."

On the online forum TheQoo, one netizen shared a tweet featuring a clip of LE SSERAFIM Sakura talking about malicious comments on Kang Ho Dong's Naver NOW show. They also attached screenshots of her previous interviews where she also mentioned the hate she's getting.
